Leon had the advantage of being able to use both feet which gave him much better scope for distribution. Grimes is an easy read because of his over reliance on his left peg.

Would prefer Allen if available, as CDM to mainly sit, connect the CHs to Ayew, and connect laterally to/from the FBs/WBs - something we've been missing.

Played v Newport and was training and haven't read any recent gossip.
I seem to remember glancing at something a couple of months from the Groningen manager saying he'd like to keep him.
I'm not sure where he fits into a Cooper set up.
Looking at his stats is interesting - in. the block of 14 games he started for Groningen he scored 3 and assisted 2 for us it was just 2 assists in 14 games (2018/19).
Better suited to Eredivisie or just a bit more experienced? |  |
