Comfortable in mid table 17:02 - Dec 21 with 2751 views | Match82 | Anybody who thought we'd be in this position before christmas 6 weeks ago is lying. Full credit to everyone involved, from the players to Marti to the rest of the staff. And if we are being honest, the board for sticking with Marti (most felt the right decision but some trigger happy owners would have twisted there)

And the two goals conceded A thirty yard free kick and a goal that would not even have been a chance had our player not pulled up injured.. Finally we are taking a few of our chances but it's the defence that has shined throughout.

Jesus - for me, this all really goes to show our expectations/aspirations have sunk into our boots since the decline set in during the second half of Warburton's final season! Fourteenth is hardly 'comfortable', but I guess it's altitude sickness-inducing after the last couple of years in the life of a QPR fan. Not that I'm not feeling quite a bit better than a month ago.

Comfortable in mid table on 23:24 - Dec 22 with 1487 views | bosh67 | I think young Morrison takes a lot of credit. Never scheduled to step up this quickly . He's 21, born on the same day as me. I mean think about his age. 21 and he plays like a veteran of 10 seasons. Assured, calm, reads the game so well and is a big reason we are now much harder to score against.

Comfortable in mid table on 03:44 - Dec 23 with 1277 views | Benny_the_Ball | Despite the rich vein of form and lofty position, I rarely feel comfortable when it comes to QPR. This game has a habit of biting you in the bottom when you get comfortable so I'll be supporting the lads with the same fervour as if we were still in a relegation dogfight.
Comfortable in mid table on 07:44 - Dec 23 with 1085 views | daveB | I thought we'd do well to stay in contention 7 games ago but we've done incredibly well, still far from safe but now in a position to kick on second half of the season and have the season i think we all expected

Comfortable in mid table on 07:49 - Dec 23 with 1072 views | Paddyhoops | Like last season. I thought once we climbed out of the bottom three we would stay out . Enormous credit to the management and players for that . It hasn’t been pretty at times but the Watford , Norwich and Preston games contained some very decent football in stark contrast to the early season dross where we easily beaten and a really dull watch . We will have some bad patches but we’re getting there.
Comfortable in mid table on 08:10 - Dec 23 with 1002 views | gazza1 | I have said that we are a decent side with some proper players, we have a very good core/nucleus of a team. I was concerned about the new foreign players at first but many of them are improving. I have said, all along, we are too good to get relegated. I placed a bet, pre-season, that we would be in the top half of the table come the last game of the season but I am hoping for better and if we play like we did on Saturday we have every chance.

I would say that the top three teams are far better than most of the division, with Middlesbrough, Sunderland & West Bromich sitting just below them. Not that any of them will have any impact in The Premier (Leeds?). At the opposite end, I think that Cardiff, Oxford, Plymouth & Preston are worse than the rest. That leaves fourteen clubs that are equally capable of winning & losing to each other! That probably leaves the Championship in the poor but competitive category & I still have more faith in Rangers taking points from the top six rather than the bottom six! I think that your team have now reached the stage that it will be difficult for them to be relegated in the near future & you will have to put up with the joys of top of the bottom half of the Premier!

On your last point you are spot on last season mainly due to so many injuries we were struggling but due to the poor promoted sides not getting over 26 point we were comfortable on 39.Think this will continue over the coming seasons as the gap gets wider between the leagues and to be honest it’s getting boring,Next season I doubt if I do many away games and go to local non league. Apart from the to 6 or 7 sides the premier league is a pretty dire experience for fans although the stupid kick off times are creeping into the championship.

I found it interesting that Dunne made the point in his post-match interview after the Preston game that we're NOT 'in a dog-fight' and should be playing relaxed football that the team enjoys. Hopefully, he has Marti's ear, and that means we won't be going to the likes of Bristol from now on as if we came from the lower ranks of the Isthmian league.
