His problems with Boavista have been sorted hence the reason he was available.
Why then has an announcement he's signed for us been delayed?
If all the reports are true, and there were very reliable reports from major sports sites that he was signing, I can only assume its international paperwork that's the delay./ Possibly they also wanted to get the Birmingham game done and then announce it.

It is normally announced that a player has signed subject to international clearance & work permit, rather than wait until they are obtained.
Hope this isn't the agent leaking this story to try and drum up a better offer "he's really signing for QPR guys, really, no, really, tomorrow, or the day after, come on guys..."
