PET is a type of plastic that is easily recycled. I work in a very broad/loose sense in the industry and global supply chains are on fire at the minute. It’s predominantly Covid related….the effect with a lag. Commodities prices rising steeply, global freight rates remaining 8-10x what they were pre-pandemic, bottlenecks and congestion in the supply chain (ports clogged up, Suez issue, Yantian effect, etc), Shortage of materials (down to lots of different factors), huge uptick in demand as the world opens up again. Brexit has meant the UK is worse affected than our European colleagues, but the pandemic is the main thing. I cannot see how inflation won’t take hold in 2022. Christmas will not be normal this year from a shopper perspective. This news doesn’t surprise me.

Yeah, but as Hunterhoop says, it's really a Covid supply chain issue not a Brexit one.

Think they put shipyard on the other day. So many microbreweries around London a bit of publicity would do the world of good. The portobello brewery is about a 5 minute drive away!

They've got Shipyard, which I really like, but it's only served from one stall which has massive queues. To be fair to them, they actually know what they're doing and pre-fill glasses 2/3rds, so they quicker to pour when you order.

What exactly does the 'Carlsberg Portfolio' mean? Because according to their website, they are responsible for a huge range of beers ( https://www.carlsberggroup.com/products/) including Kronenbourg, Brooklyn Lager, loads of other craft. If we could get some of that in, I'd be over the moon!

Or let us bring our own intoxicants in until this is all sorted. Could be a moving cultural celebration. (Or sodom and gomorrah, granted.)

No beer at headquarters on 14:45 - Sep 17 with 4308 views | dmm | QPR should brew its own beer at the stadium. It can be done relatively easily these days and doesn't need a massive amount of space or equipment. Loads of people are doing it and I'm sure there'd be a good few QPR fans that brew beer. One of my sons and his mates regularly brew pretty decent stouts, IPAs, bitters etc. and they're far superior to the tasteless fizzy slop that companies like Carlesburg churn out. It could make the club some money and would certainly please the many ale drinking supporters like myself!
