As royally pissed off as I am right now....he was class 2nd half today. Positive signs for the rest of the season. Should always be starting.

Bony looks lethal. Deadly shot, powerful header, know where the target is. Looks the part to me.

Not his fault the team has been out of sorts.

Occasionally disappointed but there are reasons.

Hasn't had a run of games and still adjusting to the demands of the premier league. He is brave and strong with an intercontinental ballistic missile of a shot.

More than anything he has good strong character as illustrated by his 2nd half v stoke. Not sure if he looks worth 12m but if his goals keep us up it will be well worth it.

"Not sure if he looks worth 12m...."

Does this mean you'd rather have the 12m than Bony?

What does a £12m striker look like then?

Look at the Dr's list, do any of those players look to be worth their value? I would say Bony is looking better value than all of those so far

Does Michu look like a £2m player? No, of course not.

People are getting too hung up on the numbers. It's done now, he's our player. We back him no matter what he's cost. Instead of comparing him to your own interpretation or expectation derived from his value, look at the facts - 10 goals (if you include the Petrolul game, which I think some sources have awarded as an own goal by their keeper) in 13 starts (18 over all appearances). 4 goals in 5 Premier League starts (10 overall appearances). Twice as likely to score with him on the pitch than off it.... You can't argue with those. He's doing the business - even if all you remember is a dodgy first touch every now and then.

I'm sure some people see Michu and other bargains we've acquired over the years and expect the same. Well, Michu was 2 Million so Bony must be at least 6 times better, yer? Err..

The better our crosses the better he will play we simply need to get the ball down the wing faster and have an end result of a good accurate cross and he will put it in.

Poll: Will we stay up? (if you think not why?)

The simple fact of the matter is the more he plays, the better he'll get and the better the team will adjust to his strengths. If he carries on progressing at this rate we'll have one hell of a player for the 2nd half of the season and beyond.

And the best thing about all this is we've seen nothing like his best yet.Not a bad return so far for someone not upto speed with the way we play and league we play in.

Look how long it took Giroud to settle in to the Arsenal side. Wilfried has hit the ground running

Nice to see Wilf getting some praise on here.

Genetically, paedophiles have more genes in common with crabs than they do with you and me. Now that is scientific fact. There's no real evidence for it, but it is scientific fact.

Pesky facts do tend to get in the way of Bony rants.

I'm a little surprised that the general consensus seems to be forming that he has a bad first touch (one bad one gets noticed, the other ten get ignored), but we've got a striker who's clearly capable of 25 goals a season if we use him properly.

That used to be a reason for celebration once.

Prawn sandwiches spring to mind. If he had a first touch that stuck like velcro with his goal scoring record he'd be a 30m plus striker, who wouldn't play for us
