The abuse Sinclair recieved at WBA away was a disgrace, the only time I've been ashamed to stand amongst the Jack Army.

Bony on 20:15 - Nov 10 by BLAZE | After that second goal you could see the confidence was flowing through his veins - he put in two of the highest leaps to win headers I've ever seen and timed them both to perfection, he looked pumped. Confidence is key now I think, moaning and groaning every time he makes a mistake isn't helping anybody - certainly not him, and by extension the team as a whole. We're 'supporters' allegedly - the clue is in the name. |
Yeah, the second goal looked like it gave him so much confidence. Really put himself about today and two very good finishes after that poor miss in the first half. Would have been easy for him to hide away after that. His first touch isn't great admittedly, but if he's scoring goals who cares? And Geoff, give it a rest mate, you're having a mare.

We have a lot of 'supporters' who simply don't deserve the success we've had, and I don't just mean on here. Some of the half time stuff was appalling; and as for the empty seats around me....I suppose they really were at home watching ManArseW*nk

Bony on 19:40 - Nov 10 by GeoffThom | We're am I wrong then big boy oh sorry he was fiing brilliant in the first half today tucked away his chances well linked up well brilliant first touch and pace to burn, yeah took his two chances in the second half overall display still has work to do and as for I no nowt about football I've seen more games than I care to remember through thick and thin you on the other hand no nothing except one eyed following now go do one |
Seeing 'more games than we'd care to remember, through thick & thin'... has nothing to do with football knowledge or having the temerity to be patient with a new player trying to adapt to the most competitive league in the world. The term 'supporter' is not an appropriate description of you or that fella from the Wirral. You 'real' supporters should be setting an example to all these new supporters mun.

Bony on 19:21 - Nov 10 by Dr_Winston | Four goals in five league starts. Five goals in seven European starts. Ten goals in thirteen starts overall. Still got something to prove? Like f*ck. |
At this rate, he'll end up with 25-30 goals this season - not bad for the failure that lots have him marked down as.

Bony on 10:57 - Nov 11 with 1552 views | Y_Cymro | Some people may not rate Bony, and there are certainly areas of his game to improve, but he's scoring goals and that's what we bought him for. Hey, look at Soldado, Spurs spent £26 million on him and he's scored 4 Premier League goals, and 3 of them are penalties!
Bony on 11:03 - Nov 11 with 1538 views | perchrockjack | Im here Starsk. Ready to take it all.. No human being or animal was injured in the making of my posts. Team looked like it got balls, LAUDRUP visibly angry.. That is more important than anything .. fans indeed, there again I wasn't there booing nor having a pie when we were digging in. Supporters eh. Takes all sorts chappie and Im relieved after it all but the referee wants investigating.

Bony on 19:49 - Nov 10 by Dr_Winston | Nothing wrong with either of those. DG10 did a more than decent job for us and I'd happily swap Vasquez for Moore right now. |
Vasquez is no better than Donnelly. Why we bombed Luke Warm and replaced him with Vasquez is beyond me. 10 goals in 14 games. Not bad for 12 million.

I'm good. When I was driving back me and the mrs were laughing at Anthony O'Connells scream of "Dyer...Yeeeeesssssss" I'm looking forward to the Cottage, I reckon we could be the final nail in Jol's coffin - if he doesn't get the tin tack before of course

Lets face facts as much as you hate booing, with out the supporters there would of been no success for the club or indeed any club. We are not at the vetch anymore with a hard core support (more`s the pity) we are now a prem club that brings in "fairweather" support that want instant success, so it comes with the territory I'm afraid. And I state for the record I did not boo even though I was hugely frustrated by the 1st half and nor do I condone it.
Bony on 11:18 - Nov 11 with 1500 views | perchrockjack | Ive had a headache - a bad one. Its like someone has stuck an icepick between my years. We re running out of crockery now as yesterday saw us reduced to the last decent set of Spode-ironic as we were playing Stoke - so I ve got to go to Asda to buy some cheap plates for the next game. Ive also got a massive hole in the boundary fence to repair as it doesn't take the hits the old one did. Got a red card from the kitchen too for bad language and violent vile behaviour. Gonna be interesting with the boys in the sauna later as some were away for the Cardiff match and will be beastly to me. but fekem

Whose said Vasquez is poo then McCurtis? FWIW I think he's raw and has time on his side, but he offers less than Luke Warm did at this present time

Bony on 11:25 - Nov 11 with 1482 views | perchrockjack | Ive no idea who Geoff is but really cant see why he gets the crap or maybe I can. Up to now Bony has been languid -possibly not had the best service- but he s the main man and he s got a job to do. He s been slow to take some chances and has been subbed ,or not started..anyway he came good, he looked animated, motivated so het feckn ho he needs to keep it going under problem man comes back, which makes me comment that had he played yesterday with Bony we may just may have taken an ordinary side to the cleaners. Not war is it

Bony on 19:51 - Nov 10 by mawdlamjack | he was not shocking, just had bad luck.is it shocking to get in the right places to have those chances? no, he kept going and got his rewards 2nd half.get off his back, with better service he will improve , he is a natural goal scorer and the team are better when he plays. there is no striker in the prem who scores from every chance, bony has 10 goals so far this season and willend upwith more than 20+ goals this season, what more do you want? |
Agree with this.. More from bony coming up!

Bony on 17:30 - Nov 11 with 1252 views | johnlangy | I'm baffled why anyone would like to look for the 'worst' player on the pitch. Why not just give the WHOLE team credit for a great performance given the efforts in Russia this week. Even in the first half they created a number of good chances. I know WB missed a couple in the first half but his movement and positioning for the two in the second were total class. And the physical work he put in against the Stoke defense was outstanding.
