Teams when they come through.

0-0 FT Huge sigh of relief. Not nice. Let's hope for a better replay.
Just another thought. Does forcing a 1st rnd replay qualify as a cup run? :)

75 mins with 10 men , I'd say that was a decent result. They barely threatened aside from one or two bursts. Confident for the replay.
Let's hope the draw gives the lads an incentive to progress likes of Bury/oldham/Halifax next would be nice.

Hendo had little thought for a poor pensioner with £20 on this away banker. I'll have to starve now this week!!! Where are these food banks?

A good result. We are now supposed to be the bigger club whereas the Cobblers are a lower Divn 2 club. To beat us would have been in their eyes a giant killing act. So they were probably up for it. I would like to know what provoked Hendo to kick out? Something about Tozer? And didn't he get booked late on when Done skinned him? Didn't we hit the woodwork twice? Does that count for nothing? Let us be positive for a change.

Fantastic achievement by the 13 players, Hendo will self-admonish no doubt.

Yeah lets not all get on Hendo's back, he made a very bad judgment, he'll know this, he must have been strongly provoked because this is not like Hendo at all, but we stuck in there, and still in the hat which is the most important thing.

Erm, probably not.
Yes, a sigh of relief on a day when the likes of Dover beat Morecambe and Chester won at Sarfend (bye-bye Phil Brown?).
On the other hand, it puts the pressure on Dale, at home and with 11 players, to win the replay.

I don't think there's as much presure on us at Spotland as there was playing away today

Considering we had ten men for so long I think it was a great result

If we can't win at home we don't deserve to go through to the next round

No Allen, no O'Connell, no Hendo after 15 minutes. Play 75 minutes with 10 men, away from home....Hell of a result if you ask me.

But not as good a result as that against Leyton O. with 10 men?

I'd have settled for a replay the minute Hendo turned to make his way towards the tunnel. Great resilience from his 10 team mates leaves us in the hat for Round 2.

Played well. All of the back 5 were fantastic, with Eastham and Tanser in particular standing out. If Tanser's passing was better then what a player he'd be. Another captain-like performance from Dawson, who's fast becoming my favourite player.

A sad word for Bunney though. Someone on here mentioned his subbing was due to an injury? I might be wrong but I doubt it. He was obviously given a tough job to do but that was one of the worst sub appearances I've ever seen. I hate to say it but he seems to be going backwards.

Foul count according to the BBC. Cobblers 16 Dale 4. Does that not tell us what was their game plan.

injured.

He must have been injured from the moment he came onto the pitch because he was bloody awful. Didn't look like he wanted to be there. Suggestion in the car that he looked ill, I think he just looked like a young player who has completely lost his way. Get him out on loan and give a chance to somebody who can make an impact.

Bunney desperately needs some loan time, he is indeed, in danger of going backwards, he needs his confidence back.

Agreed, He miscontrolled the ball giving away a throw and looked distraught. It's not happening for him at the mo he looks shot.

If Bunney was injured it begs the question as to why he was born on in the first place. Agree with what has been said about his performance by Brierls and Shun and for the time he was on we were practically playing with 9.

As for the game we were a cut above first half and had we had all 11 I'm sure it would have been over by half time. Second half they changed their system and put us under a decent amount of pressure which our defence dealt with superbly. I was slightly surprised to see Hery go off amd be replaced by Rafferty who I thought took 15 minuted to get to grips with his midfield position but offered us good defensive cover after that. Dawson my M.O.M, always showing for a pass and put a great shift in. Didn't see the sending off but it will be interesting to see how we approach the next 3 games upfront.

As someone said earlier, I have noticed that Henderson has this habit of having a sly kick at the opposition occasionally. As not been today, maybe today was the day the referee spotted it.

Bunney going backwards takes some doing, he's way out of his depth and has been for 90% of the time ive watched him.Word about Hendo, yes sounds like stupidity but lets not go over the top, if it was happening more often yes its a problem, let the lad express himself it wins us more games than he'll lose us points, the mans a genius for us

Tad unfair regarding bunney, last season he played well and witch confidence and created chances as well as putting the odd goal away. This season has been poor though and confidence does look fragile.

I'm not having the Hendo love-in any more.

Today he was stupid, petulant and completely unprofessional.

For those who think today was out of character for Henderson, it's not. He's always kicking out and trying to give opposition players a 'dig', usually out of sight of the officials. It's almost every game, only today the referee was aware and saw it clearly. The referee wasn't influenced by anyone except Henderson and his idiotic actions.

Henderson seems to have been untouchable since his arrival at the club. Yes, overall his performances have been outstanding but when he does something like today, he needs to be punished. By one silly kick out, he's jeopardising our chances of progression in the cup and potential revenue.

He made a mistake and I dare say no one will regret it more than him. The ref was right, but we know 95% of refs will have just had a word. We'll forgive him and we'll move on. If it was costing us week in week out, it would be a different matter, but in the grand scheme of things we've had about a thousand fantastic moments from him and one bad moment. I'll take that.

I could count on 1 hand the decent things he's done, we can't even blame bad management for his game either this time like previous players. I'd prefer George back up front and thats saying something

Re Bunny, he didn't cover himself in glory but I'd credit the manager. He realised their centre half was out muscling Bunny and he was brave enough to switched to Andrew to fight fire with fire and it worked

don't you think thats a tad of an overreaction, the first paragraph makes him sound like Grimes.

Regarding the love-in with Hendo, with good reason, the guy oozes class, has given some stunning moments, and we should all forgive him for one single moment of mis-judgment, not get on his back because he isn't as perfect as some thought.
