I would mind betting their medicals are more thorough than ours, if they’ve picked up on something previously undiagnosed I wouldn’t be surprised if they forked out about €2,000 to do an extended MRI scan of his heart.
I had something similar about two years ago, this might not be the right terminology, but it’s called something like a multi-pass scan that takes over an hour in total. I just remember the nurses saying I was having the same scan the expensive footballers going to Chelsea get.

Could prove cheaper in the long run. At least there’s a reasonable chance the medical staff at Southampton General would have some knowledge of the human body.
It appears that our medical team currently consists of the Head of Stadium Security, Hospitality Junior Chef and any one of the Ticket Office staff that happens to be around at the time. | |
