Don’t we have our own LTC in Bettache? Similar styles, recycle the ball quickly to the more creative players. That said I did like little Tommy and on a free he’d be a decent squad player especially for what’s bound to be a crazy short season - we need some strength in depth.
No harm in taking a look at him while he trains with us to get fit surely?
Ticks every box that Warbs looks for in his players
He’ll be a great signing for Warbs and may be needed if Eze goes and we suffer half a dozen injuries
It’s great that we are attempting to find these players, trying to unearth some low cost players. He knows the club, is technically minded and we are bolstering the squad. If he signs, then I hope some of our so called fans give him a chance, show him patience, look at this as a positive and not focus on any perceived weaknesses
Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

I think I preferred the "we'll definitely get relegated this time..." routine to this.

Oh I dunno, finding it very entertaining.
I play a game where I widen the image on my phone so I can read the text but can’t see the contributor. Try to guess who said it, you’ll come up with half a dozen potential nailed ons, then roll back the screen and see how wrong you were when you find its LBlock.

This is all very well and good but I had a pallet each of prozac and nitrous oxide left on my porch by Amazon the other day and some bastard's nicked them.

Quite like this deal. When he was gone from Swansea I mentioned to someone he could be perfect for our system.
Have seen him take all the usual flak on Twitter but I find it hard to believe we are in the position to turn down a ball-playing midfielder, who has played 94 times in the Premier League, on a free at the age of 28.

I'm not against this, it seems worth a look, but it's not actually a bargain-buy to take on the wages of any player (even within our wage structure) unless there's actually a place for him in the side.
Given we've just signed Amos and have stacks of creative players on the wings and in the No 10 role, is a ball-playing centre mid really the priority over a younger version of Cameron?

It gives options. Chair could be second striker. Amos could be coached, strengthened and developed into that defensive midfield role. It also gives back up. It is going to come harder and faster than normal this season and we need a bigger squad to cope with injuries, fatigue, loss of form and suspension.
We may be introducing more of our young players, like Bettache, to the squad but we cannot rush them. We have to make sure they are fit and rested to enable them to reach their potential when they do play.
If a deal can be done and it ticks our boxes then why not?

I'm not against this at all, depending on the role he'd take up.
I;d be slow to move Chair, though, particularly if Eze goes. I think we'll need his creativity further back the field. Even a role as second striker might see him too far ahead of the ball.

Yeah, not against that at all, but it needs to be a case of him ticking the boxes rather than "ooh look, he's on a free and played in the Premier, let's scoop him up 'cos he's bound to come in handy".
I'm happy to trust Warbs to know what the boxes are, or at least I think we need to let him do that and judge him on the results.

Get him back here 2 year deal With him dykes and a couple of signings we could be the dark horses for promotion
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles
