Bizarrely enough I was told that for their game at Banbury Totton Directors were told they would need a jacket and tie if they wanted to enter the directors room for pre match drinks and nibbles etc.

The Northam Club was strictly shirt and tie before they opened their doors to the football rabble in August 2001

I nearly bought into a Tie Rack Franchise a few years back.
Dodged a bullet there.

I still wear one to work Nick but I must admit I am a lone and rare tie wearer. Not sure why I do but from a certain level or environment and in certain occasions it is the right thing to do, but I don't expect anyone else to. I have in the past got some stick for it (in a good way) but I think people just accept it is me.
