Yes read I that , they're enforcing a full on ban from 9th September .Not being a frequent customer of theirs , The Bank Statement , and Potters Wheel in town and Red Lion in Morriston makes little difference to me .

A article in the Independent and some guy complaining on X seems to created a bit of a stir, I can't see why the clowns in cardiff would want to get involved as I would have thought its down to the chain owners or landlords to decide. I do take my two into a pub in Tenby when we visit and other pubs inn the area and if implemented would cheese off a lot of people , local or visitors.

Fantastic idea, Pilot is like a Kennel club on times and I expect a few other pubs the same 4 legged pain in the arses barking and screeching at each other.
The bellend owners think its all so funny, well its fing not!

I’d be surprised if the Senedd were legislating on this when they’ve got much bigger things to focus on.

I’m not a dog lover and I’d rather not see a dog in the pub, restaurant or cafe I’m using, but it’s not the end of the world if there’s a well behaved pooch present, if the dog is boisterous or uncontrolled then I don’t want it there. My take on things is that it’s down to the owner of the pub/cafe etc as to whether they want a dog on the premises.

I have two and appreciate that others may not like dogs in pubs so we only frequent those who state dogs welcome and I have to say mine are good as gold ,once settled stay under the table with no fuss ,barking etc

The Red Lion, The Midland and The Fountain are still going as what most people would call pubs. The Workies and The Grove club are open, and I think Spatz is open part time.

Struggling to think of anywhere else in Morriston central that still trade. The Red Lion has finished most of them off, which is fair enough as most of them were dives and the Red is a decent pub.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

This is nonsense surely. Virtually every pub in Gower is either fully dog friendly or lets them in the bar but not the lounge. Can only think of King Arthur that doesn’t. They’d be up
In arms if they were forced into banning dogs.

I believe the Champion opposite the church in the middle of the road is still trading although hard to tell most of the time. the Monkey tree at the end of Martin Street has been renamed as the Swan ( now that's original ) and the Millhouse , I didn't count the Clubs just the pubs so with the Midland Lion and Fountain that's the 6 I can think of.

So just leave the dog behind in a strange house . Nice that
I have never seen any dog start aggravation in a pub .
Speak to those who rent rooms and you’ll find most owners find dogs don’t pissthe bed, trash furniture or spend the night banging doors

Haven't seen the Champion open for months. Ditto the Mill House. The Swan is being done up but was closed the last time I walked past it.
