You’re a sensitive soul ,to be sure .
As for chips,I’ve never been so insulted
We’re in the French Fries Belt here
We like Northumberland for the reasons I’ve stated . If you can’t accept that,leave the poison out in your posts . I answer to nobody least of all you .
Now,Northumberland…. There’s a place where they eat lots of chips and ,like the plebs they are,smother them with Saxa Salt and Sarsons vinegar. Leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.
Then they have their chips to accompany their fresh from the North Sea haddock and eat them out of newspaper ,Daily Mirror at that .
It’s not always easy to watch as they drain excess vinegar on to their chips or simply suck it out from the paper.
Still, everyone is welcomed no matter what language they speak nor where they are from ( apart from Sunderland) .
Beaches are bigger,less crowded and historical castles abound ,like this
