Most visitors will have researched pubs before hand and then aim for a pub to give it custom
Now the Senedd want yo take this away
People will either stay home and cook a meal or simply not come at all
Senedd might just as well do what the Gogs already do and make it plain visitors aren't welcome and to stay out of their village so they can get on with their lives
Not sure about the jobs that would vanish overnight

Because it isn't a thing , someone on X originally made a comment , then a " journalist " from the Independent chirped up with apiece , now trending on Facebook.
AsI said before I'd have thought it was the chain owner or landlord who would make that decesion. Smoking in pubs banned made a difference to walking customers so IMO with the increase in dog ownership I'd have though they'd be shooting themselves in the foot by banning dogs especially the independents .

One with pyss heads racking it up,the other full of walkers with dogs sitting at their feet
Which is best ?
The dogs ain’t gonna be bobbing off all sorts of salacious drunken shyte
Last break we had was to Beverley near Hull.
Went for a bit of scoff ( tea) with intention of one drink then a cosy night in front of fire
We were there three hours as most seemed intent on chatting to either us or our black Lab ,gorgeous bitch as she is .
It’s a sure fast way of meetinand engaging with people .
I’d boil my eyeballs before I engage with the dregs I see in pubs [Post edited 19 Aug 19:32]

We take our two with us everywhere and found that most pubs are accommodating of us ( strangely) and the dogs. Amroth or example although small has a number of eating establishments, Temple Bar and the New Inn ( massive Sunday dinner) good food and a cruft type display of dogs on show , a lovely beach for them to run freely and then back for a pint and a meal , well recommended. | |
