Corbyn's jealousy shines on 22:06 - Jan 10 with 1012 views | Brynmill_Jack | Unfortunately they never had to work minimum wage so they are completely and willfully ignorant of other people trying to scrape a living and pay for accommodation in the uk right now.

Corbyn's jealousy shines on 22:09 - Jan 10 with 1005 views | blueytheblue | Is that a fact, fella? By that question, I of course mean you're utterly wrong. I've worked minimum wage in the past.

Corbyn's jealousy shines on 22:43 - Jan 10 with 986 views | pikeypaul | So after the 1st £400k we pay our players in club shares? That would be funny seeing the yanks and the selllouts shares being diluted. So funny in fact I am now for Corbyns stupid plan.

Corbyn's jealousy shines on 23:12 - Jan 10 with 971 views | londonlisa2001 | We're not a public company, so no. Our players would simply leave. I was fairly transparently (I thought) talking in response to Tommy's point re major corporations. A significant portion of executive bonuses are currently paid in shares, not cash. When you see headlines about £5m bonuses or similar, most of that will be in shares at the moment. An easy trial of the plan would be the introduction of a maximum wage in football. Let's all see how long it takes for the majority of premier league teams to lose all their players, or see them being paid in off shore image rights contracts instead. Much as the top earners are at the moment.

Corbyn's jealousy shines on 13:36 - Jan 11 with 873 views | trampie | The pay that some people get like top bankers, police, teachers, doctors, footballers etc is an affront to humanity, its debauchery, its greed over need, high wages should be taxed very heavily. [Post edited 11 Jan 2017 13:37]

Corbyn's jealousy shines on 13:58 - Jan 11 with 860 views | londonlisa2001 | If you raise the tax rate too high Trampie your tax take reduces. It has been proven time and time again. If you raise the tax rate knowing that your tax take will reduce, then you are doing so not for the good of the country, public services etc, you are doing so as a symbol, to punish if you like. That's simply petulant, spiteful politics, and people will not vote for it unless they feel similarly inclined to punish.
Corbyn's jealousy shines on 13:58 - Jan 11 with 856 views | rock1n | It's not a good post at all, in measurable terms the poorest in this Country are far more affluent than they've ever been. People on minimum wage in this Country are in the top 10% in the World in terms of wealth. There are a wealth of opportunities out there, you just have to get off your backside and look for them and train. The problem is with socialists is they want to bring everyone down to their level because they don't have any ambition and have pessimistic notion of what people can achieve. This idea that it's global capitalism to blame for changes in the economy is laughable. It's automation, other Countries becoming more prosperous (as a result of capitalism) which means there is more competition. You can't set the clock back, machines are doing much of the work these days that's the nature of the beast in 100 years time we might all be paid for doing nothing it's technology. The trick is to find something to replace what has since gone. Socialists are the ultimate conservatives, they want to stop time but you can't things change, societal changes take place. People want to go on foreign holidays now, they want the luxuries in life, they want to eat out. We have become a lot richer and you just don't see it. The bottom line is you can't stop time and unless you want Britain to start up an Empire again you can't stop other Countries like China developing.

Corbyn's jealousy shines on 14:01 - Jan 11 with 852 views | blueytheblue | So a financial company with turnover, profits of how much exactly should award bosses bonuses akin to a packet of crisps and a can of coke. Gotcha.

Corbyn's jealousy shines on 14:02 - Jan 11 with 850 views | rock1n | Yep, it doesn't matter how many times this is highlighted people still believe this nonsense. If you're going to raise taxes on the rich it would have to be global.

Corbyn's jealousy shines on 14:07 - Jan 11 with 842 views | blueytheblue | It's ironic this is magically an issue for Labour at a time when income inequality is at it's lowest in 30 years. Which includes periods of Labour governments. It's as though Corbyn is stuck in some bizarro 70s/80s parody of traditional Labour... "it's all the fault of the rich! burn them at the stake"... "errm, Jezza, you can't do that"... "ok, tax them at the stake!" He's literally got zero clue whatsoever. No ideas, nothing more than soundbites and rhetoric with no substance behind whatsoever. Presumes the mass population of Britain is as dumb as his core followers.

Corbyn's jealousy shines on 14:08 - Jan 11 with 842 views | rock1n | Why does it offend you what someone earns? If someone earns more, they pay more tax which is more revenue for the treasury.

Corbyn's jealousy shines on 14:11 - Jan 11 with 837 views | rock1n | Yep under the tories/coalition the rich are paying more - the facts are there for all to see but prejudice prevents people from seeing this. Labour are talkers, always have been. Sometimes I despair of this Country, we are a very strong, successful Country with a rich history and all you ever have is moaners because someone else is earning more than them. Envy. I hate it.

Corbyn's jealousy shines on 14:13 - Jan 11 with 833 views | blueytheblue | Indeed, I loved Owen Jones ages ago ranting about the income tax cuts benefitting the millionaires in the cabinet. Andrew Neil asked him how many were earning a million a year. Jones seemed flummoxed, diverted from his prepared rant. Didn't quite seem to grasp income tax is a tax upon, errm, income. Empty rhetoric, never any real workable answers.

Corbyn's jealousy shines on 14:17 - Jan 11 with 829 views | rock1n | Yep, not even a simple understanding of how it works. There are some millionaires in Cabinet, self made. I mean what an awful person, working hard getting an education setting up a business paying lots of tax. Terrible, disgusting toffs
