Beast From The East. on 13:31 - Feb 28 by Discodroids | 7.5 in an hour.. He must be a non marine broker!. My Mrs is off today castigating me relentlessly for my failure to get this partition wall and bi fold doors put in. The Builders have postponed for 2 weeks!. It really enrages me when I can't do a job around the house, (im ok at general painting decorating wallpapering etc), and 'er indoors states that 'we'll have to get a man in'. I feel like john bercow when sally has him singing for his pease pudding supper as john seeks refuge and sexual solace in the wicker laundry basket under the heavily soiled pantyhose assaulting his senses , while watching through the weave as sally is taken to uncharted string of pearls orgasmic heights by engaging in bumper to bumper sex with DJ clinton oliver. edit : ive been told that Luncheon is to be taken at the grove restaurant which is at the top of my road. No Boozer today. she hath spoken. [Post edited 28 Feb 2018 13:32]

Unsurprisingly he is! Well Broker back-up / Account Manager or whatever label it is they've stuck on us these days. Don't need to tell you DD as you've seen it all before but perhaps most worrying is he's far from alone. It may not be 1994 anymore but the alcoholism and general depravity is still prevalent in this ivory tower. I plan my drinks in advance these days with my colleagues and run away when it gets out of hand! Rock n fackin roll reinsurance indeed. In other news I've just bought a house which according to Mrs SF will require the removal of 2 internal walls, the installation of another one and yes, you guessed it some bi-folding doors. My contribution will be to paint the kitchen once the (real man) work has been completed. Always remember mate you are not alone!

Beast From The East. on 14:45 - Feb 28 by R_from_afar | We had about 2cm in Bracknell and the issue was not the snow, it was the local council's ongoing mission to make my house the Berkshire equivalent of Juneau, Alaska, i.e. not accessible by road. Good luck organising your footer session, I am running an 8v8 match tomorrow and I am expecting chaos. RFA |
I'm told the pitch is playable but there will be a last minute inspection at 5. I'm regretting not packing a hat or trackie bottoms, it's shorts and my QPR top only - fingers crossed we're protected from the wind cos even in jacket and chinos I almost froze to death getting lunch!

Beast From The East. on 14:05 - Feb 28 by hubble | Good mate of mine lives in Forest Row, must be pretty near to you. Visited for the first time last month, couldn't believe how lovely it was and how many stars there were in the night sky. You can tell I'm a true Londoner. Love your pic. |
Yes, Forest Row is a few minutes' drive from us... Turn right at the that Airmens' Grave (poignant scene of a WWII bomber crash, and where Remembrance Sunday services are held, often showered by thousands of poppies dropped by an old Tiger Moth flying over from Biggin Hill). Drive past Winston Churchill's emergency secret bolt-hole/bomb shelter. Then turn left at the permanently present 24/7/365 ice cream fan (as featured in the most recent series of 'Hunted'). Go past the turning to Pooh Bridge and turn left at one of the oldest churches in the country - recorded in the Domesday Book). Then straight on for a couple of miles, taking care not to run over the millions of Scientologists in the area... The nights skies are a great though - like you, we couldn't quite believe seeing that many stars when we moved down this way. :) | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Beast From The East. on 10:14 - Feb 27 by Discodroids | Agree with every word mate, the mayflower has won a few beer awards recently, Sarah moore is a big football pub, packed when Man utd play??. The mariners court is a fermenting piss hole, went their once with my eldest , reminded me of the towie joy divisions that suffuse every strata of life in my old town of brentwood. will try the porters , i'm going to have a look on the beer in the evening website. Weather update.. now Looks like the wham 'last christmas' video here in leigh. The poor Mrs went off to work today like she was off to the gulag for sense crimes against the state. i'll be thinking of her in an hour and 15 minutes when i'm necking my first pint by the crooked billet roaring fire!. don't touch that dial for further updates. |
Disco I'm a East End exile currently esconced in Benfleet, have you done the 3 boozers by the station? Hoy & Helmet, Half Crown & Anchor? The Zak Wiltshire is shite (more towards Thundersley) & the Tarpots Harvester is double shite, it's like an oasis if you live near there. Very unlikely that you know a village West of Montpellier called Le Pouget (south of Gignac), but I spent a wild summer there in 1985 working on a tiny medieval house in the heart of the village. Nearly 20 years later I worked in Montpellier briefly as a writer working with a computer game studio. Beautiful city and part of the world. My friend still has the house in Le Pouget. Nice to be reminded of it. This thread is like a psychogeographical tour of Rangers fans!

Although we were relocated to Shoreditch Powerleague for the last year or so due to Crossrail, we're back in Whitechapel at the back of the Leisure Centre. They have just laid a brand new pitch and it's bloody lovely... Last night was quite tough work and playing in minus 4 / snow was not easy but properly fun and only went over on my arse a few times...

Beast From The East. on 10:12 - Mar 1 with 3297 views | Lblock | Quality stuff today All meetings cancelled and a WhatsApp messae on the group stating "WFH unless you have to come in" was good enough for me at 06:00Hrs. Went to a different local park with the hounds today so as to avoid young pup crashing through thin ice again -- I cannot recall last time I was in a snow blizzard of such fury! Proper whipping through you. I said to the ball and chain "crazy how we can happily walk through this weather most foul but making it into central London, mainly underground, is beyond human effort" Soft lot this country. I'd always planned to be at home as I've a chimney sweep coming round at 1:00pm. Rang him earlier with an expectation of a "cor blimey nah guv'nar, not in dis 'ere wev-ver we got mate" only to be greeted with..."yep, I'm actually running a bit early as the roads are quite clear" Chimney sweeps run the country. Bring it on Storm Emma. Bring it!

Hi Eric, it just got to Haute Savoie this morning, total carnage on the roads. Here it's "le retour du sud" Re the myth of Britain collapsing and the rest of the world being fine when it snows. the only difference is winter tyres. Countries where everyone has them are ok, those without aren't. Salt and snowploughs have insignificant impacts in comparison.

Beast From The East. on 10:43 - Mar 1 with 3251 views | RamseyR | Just back from a ski trip to Bulgaria. Over Sunday/Monday we had three feet of snow in the town and more on the mountain. Everything cleared efficiently, every piste, chairlift, gondola, road & shop open. Parked cars completely buried. We had to push our transfer bus out of snow a couple of times though on the way to the airport Landed in Luton Tue afternoon.....you would think it was the end of the world here.

There was about 6 inches on the ground this morning, no-one had chains on. Deeper than that and the chains come out. The hommes-van-blanc still drive 18 inches from your rear bumper

Beast From The East. on 11:01 - Mar 1 with 3210 views | Discodroids | Still snowing in leigh on sea heavily, and I've been cast to the seventh rung of hell, the Mrs is taking the rest off the week off to keep me company and jack up the opiate 'location location location' for the next 3 days. In Addition ocado have cancelled their delivery meaning im clean out of French nonpareils capers, fingerling Marrow and farfalle Croquettes. How my life has changed , i remember being knee deep in snow in the early 2000's trudging back to lloyds of london like a snow blind Amundsen after a white haired angel of domination in full kit had tormented me in exchange for many coins of the realm above drakes wine bar in leadenhall market, Recording my racial purity for her files via physiognomy instrumentation while screaming degenerate obscenities at me. Now, it's all partition walls , thermal cavity wall insulation, builders that don't turn up unless they have a helicopter and a bag of nobbys nuts by the sea. help me.
