Vert true dat. He's worth at least 20m in this market. But maybe we'd also save on the balance of his signing on fee (he's got the same agent as Gomis, I think he had a similar great deal when he signed). That could add another few million on top of this. So the true value to us could easily be £20m.
You'd like to think we'd get at least £20-25m out of a deal, however it's structured. But then I genuinely think Ash is worth £15-20m, so maybe I'm unrealistic. |  | | |
