Tony's latest twitterings..... 02:30 - Aug 2 with 9267 viewsNov77

ale faurlin is not leaving. Would like to renew him. All of us belive in him

We need players who want to play with us. And apply themselves. We can't keep expensive players based on past performances if they don't committ

Some players want to play in the premier league due to world cup. Loans are a good option. As we hope to come back to the premier league

Doesn't matter where a player goes if it's a different league and a loan

We learnt from last season. We won't repeat same mistakes. Full stop. You will see some exciting new faces and some leavers will disappoint

Same stuff as before. It can only be pre-empting the backlash when Adel leaves. And preparing us for the arrival of another Championship stalwart, maybe a Wolves reject...oh, hang on....

Poll: What's our back 4 for Wembley?

Sounds like adel is off on loan then somewhere as faurlin is the only other player any of us would be disappointed to see leave.

"We need players who want to play with us. And apply themselves. We can't keep expensive players based on past performances if they don't commit "

This is clearly in reference to Adel. Think he may well be leaving on a permanent. The loan comments are presumably about Remy and Cesar because who else would be thinking of the World Cup? (Again this controverts Redknapp's quotes about a Remy loan not being acceptable).

I would have thought the idea was for Cesar to leave on a permanent but on the other hand it's been noticeable that the official site keeps reporting on his international call-ups etc. Plus isn't Green out of contract at the end of this season?

If the club sell or loan Taarabt to Fulham then it's an absolute joke.

No mate, a professional being accused of not "applying" themselves is the joke. And his fan boys bleating on & on, is also a bit of a joke.

I actually feel sorry for fans who don't appreciate Taarabt. Clearly didn't take the same enjoyment I did from our Championship winning season and most probably watching the wrong sport.

As stated so many times before, if Taarabt was as good as his representatives and himself thinks he is then he would never have been close to playing for QPR. Fact is he isn't nowhere as good as that hence he is now 'playing' once again for a Championship side and the interest from other clubs is almost zilch, excluding Stoke City, where it would be like attaching a shiny piece of plastic to a turd. Sure he had a great season in 2010-11 but that was mainly due to Warnock treating him differently to the rest of the squad, but nobody is going to pander to his whims now. The bloke is a fool to himself and one day will end up playing in some middle-eastern league just because some rich idiot will pay him the money required. QPR will always be bigger than Adel Taarabt.

If he is going anywhere then a loan to Fulham wouldnt be the end of the world.

It would be very interesting to see how they would integrate him , without building the entire team around him.

He would have no credit in the bank with their fans so would be starting from scratch as far as attitude and commitment is concerned .

Presumably the sell on fee to Spurs would not be payable .
Plus we could get him back if we go back up .

All this based on the supposition that he wants to go

I support QPR not Adel Taarabt.

If he won't "commit" & won't "apply" himself cos he's trying to force a move away , my interest in him is zero. Go buy a Fulham ST mate enjoy him there , plenty left I expect! ;)

I'm disappointed

Not one reference to a new stadium or the training ground
My spread bet of this being mentioned 2,347 times in a 6 month period looking touch and go

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

This is excellent news about Faurlin. I pray it's true and 'Arry is on the same wavelength. Ale feeding slide rule passes and delicate chips behind the back 4 for Austin and Johnson is exciting. We could muller teams. But we need a passer in the middle to make it work. Mbia and Henry can barely pass water.

Currant Bun says we are about to flog Adel to Genoa for 5m.

I'm now of the opinion if you dont want to be here, go now so we can replace you with someone who does.

Been here since 1984. Now THAT is what you call punishment

I'm of the opinion that Adel should be appropriatly managed so we can get out of this league far more easily and he'll be talked about as a 10-15 mil player again, but maybe that's just me. But hey 2 hours of 'arm around you' time clearly isn't worth it when you're only on 3 million a year to manage like Harry is.

Adel has strops, moments where he thinks he's god's gift, everyone knows this - just put an arm around the lad, tell him he's wanted and that he's vital, it clearly worked last time... but instead, we'll just let him do as he wants, wash our hands of him and sell him for sod all.

Hard to disagree with a lot of that but the frustrating thing is that I think without his 'advisors' and people around him concerned with their own agenda, I get the impression he would just get on with enjoying his football and reap the benefits.

Also, as above, we really need to get a management team reading off the same page as coaching staff. It's ridiculous that they are contradicting each other, it wont transmit well to the first team.

I must've missed Taarabt saying he won't commit or apply himself.

There's clearly been a fallout with Redknapp but you're making up the rest, unless you have quotes from Taarabt saying he won't commit or apply himself?

Don't try and use quotes from Redknapp as we all know how reliable he is.

But his quotes are being used in this thread to imply that he is at odds with Fernandes.

You cant have it both ways .

Remy?

I took i that this was reference to Remy & Cesar going out on loan. Mentioning the World Cup, they are the only two players i can think of that will go.

Smells like a trout farm in here
