Tony's latest twitterings..... 02:30 - Aug 2 with 9283 viewsNov77

ale faurlin is not leaving. Would like to renew him. All of us belive in him

We need players who want to play with us. And apply themselves. We can't keep expensive players based on past performances if they don't committ

Some players want to play in the premier league due to world cup. Loans are a good option. As we hope to come back to the premier league

Doesn't matter where a player goes if it's a different league and a loan

We learnt from last season. We won't repeat same mistakes. Full stop. You will see some exciting new faces and some leavers will disappoint

Jigsore (not related to the geezer from Saw are you?) when will you and others wake up and smell the coffee... Adel doesn't want to play for us anymore!

Iloved the guy, but why keep banging on about him when he clearly want's to be else where?!

#mindnumbing

Nope, never even seen those shite films :p

Yeah, I was resigned to that fact earlier in the Summer, but he's still here and if Adels finding it difficult to get a move i'm not going to push him out the door. Even if we had him till January.... it would help. Wishful thinking?

I love how some want to assume Taarabt doesn't want to be here and hasn't trained. Redknapp said this morning he's been injured and only came back yesterdaqy

Exactly. It almost feels like some fans want Taarabt to leave regardless of whether he wants to go or not.

I love watcheing adel play - HOWEVER - i think it is time for him to go - Having a maverick like him is great - BUT - he does kinda ruin the balance of a team - unless you build one around him - Ther I have said it - sorry but Bye Bye Adel and thanks so much for the memories

Those fans should be careful what they wish for. I find it hard to believe that anyone wants him gone.

IMO it will be a sad day for QPR when he leaves. Even with all of his faults and childish tantrums, he is our longest serving player and he appears to have a genuine affinity for the fans.

So he wants to play for a bigger club... so what... Does that mean he hates QPR or doesn't try???? If anybody believes that, I suggest they re watch our win at Stamford Bridge last year when he arguably put in his best R's performance as a lone striker.

He is a very special player with a unique talent . Once he leaves, I doubt very much we will see a someone like him at QPR again for many years to come.

As stated so many times before, if Taarabt was as good as his representatives and himself thinks he is then he would never have been close to playing for QPR. Fact is he isn't nowhere as good as that hence he is now 'playing' once again for a Championship side and the interest from other clubs is almost zilch, excluding Stoke City, where it would be like attaching a shiny piece of plastic to a turd. Sure he had a great season in 2010-11 but that was mainly due to Warnock treating him differently to the rest of the squad, but nobody is going to pander to his whims now. The bloke is a fool to himself and one day will end up playing in some middle-eastern league just because some rich idiot will pay him the money required. QPR will always be bigger than Adel Taarabt.

Spot on mate. Every year for the last 3/4 years we have this Adel going here, Adel going there and yet nobody has ever ( and I think all PSG talk was bo11ocks ) come in for him. Said it before, but he should get his head out of his arse and get down the business of doing what he is being paid very good money for. Playing and working hard for the ONLY team that has ever shown him any interest. QUEENS PARK RANGERS!

If a player refuses to play aren't they in breach of contract? On the Redknapp Press Conference thread didn't HR say Cesar doesn't want to play in the Championship? Well, if no one buys him and he's picked for the team, what if he refuses?

Even if he does play but cleary doesn't put the effort in and lets in goals, then that must be a breach too?

If he does that's an issue but that's very hypothetical, if he has to stay I doubt he is going to throw a few goals in as he wants to play in a world cup

Agreed. Just wondering how far a player can go refusing to play before he's in breach?

Very far I'd guess the way players today are totally immune.

I support QPR not Adel. I have supported QPR for almost 40 years. I supported QPR long before Adel came onto the scene and will support them long after he leaves.

Having said that, it sure was fun to watch Adel tearing up the Championship wearing a QPR shirt. There is no doubt that he was the most exciting and creating pplayer we have had in at least a decade. Adel is not bigger than QPR, but he is a rare talent and rare talents like his don't come along very often. It sure would be nice if we had a coaching team who could adjust and adapt to the challenges facing them. No need to adjust to time/moeny wasters like Granero and Park. But Adel is certainly different. Yeah, he must be a pain in the arse. If not, why would every manager that ever had him have said so. But he is still a wonder to behond. And sometimes, it is fun to watch such a wonder. Remember the 4-0 win over Swansea? He scored 2 gorgeous goals, won a penalty and supplied the fourth.

Remember those days? You can't say they weren't fun. 40 years of supporting QPR. It was fund to watch Stand and Gerry. It was fun to watch the Venables teams. It was fun to watch QPR around 1995, with Sir Les and all. In between, long stretches of dross and disappointment. Just sayin'

Yes be careful what you wish for- has anyone noticed that the two current alternatives are hoilet and swp do you really prefer watching them aand truly believe that they will deliver more than Adel.Hoiilet looked a bit better at Southend but is still not a patch on Tarbs and as for SWP he is rubbish He is hardly ever capable of beating his man and he seems to have given up even trying. Selling Tarabt now makes no financial sense anyway especially as spurs get 40 %. Far better as an earlier poster said to let him prove himself again and at least sell him for more. What winds me up most about th tarabt haters on here is the total slating of his attitude, he did not produce last season but please name one game where he gave up trying to make things happen, Jamie Mackie is rightly treated as a hero for his efforts even though his end product was poor too last season. I personally will remeber Adel for his effort as well as his outrageous skills.
