Tony's latest twitterings..... 02:30 - Aug 2 with 9282 views | Nov77 | ale faurlin is not leaving. Would like to renew him. All of us belive in him We need players who want to play with us. And apply themselves. We can't keep expensive players based on past performances if they don't committ Some players want to play in the premier league due to world cup. Loans are a good option. As we hope to come back to the premier league Doesn't matter where a player goes if it's a different league and a loan We learnt from last season. We won't repeat same mistakes. Full stop. You will see some exciting new faces and some leavers will disappoint [Post edited 2 Aug 2013 2:40]

I don't see why everyone keeps harping on to the line "he was great last time we got promoted" Yeah 2 seasons ago and hasn't shown a great deal since then (Fulham at home last season aside) I dont think any of us know, or will know whether its Adel not interested or Harry not wanting him, but the fact some people think hes gods gift is amazing. A talent no doubt, but exceptional players do it week in week out, even Adel didn't do that when he "destroyed" the championship last time (anyone remember hull off the top of my head) I really like watching Adel, but i think people saw the sksports hype at the beginning of each championship game we played which always focused on him and people believe thats the only reason we went up. If we didn't have the likes of Derry & Faurlin working their asses off each game to allow Adel to do what he liked we wouldn't have gone up and thats kinda the point im trying to make in a long winded ramble. Be it Derry, Faurlin, Adel, Remy, Cesar or any other player, no single player will get us up this year, its going to take 11 committed players week in week out, which is what we had last time we went up, not one amazing player carrying the team.
Tony's latest twitterings..... on 09:18 - Aug 2 with 1586 views | N12Hoop | On my twitter feed I can;t find the bit about Faurlin. Can someone else check theirs, because if it's been subsequently deleted that would be quite telling. Re Adel, Harry didn't like him at Spurs and once you;re in his bad books it's game over. HIs departure has been on the cards from the day Harrry joined. Life moves on I suppose, but in Harry's defence you can't build a Championship team around one temperamental player. It may have worked under Warnock, but that doesn;t mean it will work again.

If you think anyone in football plays at a 10/10 level week in week out other than Messi and Ronaldo you're very much mistaken. Adel was terrific in around 70-80% of the Championship games, and by terrific I mean a game changing performance - you can't expect any better than that. He's shown a lot of good things in his two seasons in the Premiership - nobody came out of last season with much credit but there were still several displays from Adel that nobody other than him could produce - against Fulham, Man City, Chelsea, and a few others we saw some excellent performances. The likes of us who harp on about him being great last time we got promoted want the best for QPR and we know Adel is our best chance at going back up again. Especially with Austin here now, Adel creates chances for fun, we would be favourites. But instead we are letting him rot and going to give him away on the cheap just because he throws the odd misguided strop.

I didnt say 100% of the time i said consistently, i also dont think adel was game changing in 80% of the championship games, but i guess opinions are what makes football. Having to Babysit Adel yet again as people believe he's our best chance is probably what started the massive divisions in the team, read Warnocks book and see how differently he was treated to the rest of the team. We'll have more chance of going up with 11 committed players than one very big talent who can win games if he feels like it and has had enough cuddles that day. Just to be clear i really like adel, yes hes a game changer (but hey so was routledge in alot of games) and i would genuinely like him to stay, however i wont be having a paddy if he does leave.
Tony's latest twitterings..... on 09:44 - Aug 2 with 1529 views | daveB | I still hope Taarabt stays but I can't see Redknapp changing his mind on him so he'll be gone soon. I don't think we should be pandering to everything Taarabt wants but if we look to integrate him into the team we would see the benefits, we seem to have gone from one extreme to the other in the way we treat him I still disagree with those who say he's done nothing for two years, I thought his good games were in double figures in each season which is better than most. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

AS for Taarabt I think his time has come I thank him for the amazing memories and magic but just cant c a future for him at QPR with his attitude

All this Adel talk is irrelevant. He doesn't want to play in the championship again and even if you believe Harry has fallen out with him then no amount of roses, chocolates, shisha's, apologies, cuddles or meals out are going to change the fact he wants to move on. Let it go people.

If 20 goals and assists isn't consistent, I really don't know what you expect from players? Also, blaming Adel for the division in teams is nonsense - if he was so divisive, why did we win the league? You'll be better placed blaming the division between players on Mark Hughes bringing in sh1t players on treble the wages of guys who gave a damn.

How many times, he hasn't been anywhere near that level on a consistent basis since. Only consistent has been his inconsistent attitude! Why do people go back 3 season and think if we put out that same squad we would walk the league again, we wouldn't, things change, move on, look forward not backward Sound like Tony there!

Tony's latest twitterings..... on 08:25 - Aug 2 by Northernr | Harry wants rid of Faurlin - Tony Tweets we want to renew his contract. Harry says no point in loaning out players - Tony Tweets loaning out players is a good idea. |
Harry mentioned the loan word at least 3 times in his press conference so maybe the "rift" , if there was ever one, has been sorted out. With all due respect I suspect it was a lot less "serious" than you supposed.
Tony's latest twitterings..... on 10:40 - Aug 2 with 1392 views | rsonist | You can appreciate Adel and everything he's done for us while still accepting it's time to go if that's what he really wants. Tony's latest twitterings..... on 08:32 - Aug 2 by fakekerby | I'm of the opinion that Adel should be appropriatly managed so we can get out of this league far more easily and he'll be talked about as a 10-15 mil player again, but maybe that's just me. But hey 2 hours of 'arm around you' time clearly isn't worth it when you're only on 3 million a year to manage like Harry is. |
and you know that Harry hasn't tried that? He DID manage him at Tottenham don't forget.
Tony's latest twitterings..... on 10:41 - Aug 2 with 1380 views | simmo | Maybe worth mentioning that HR said Adel didnt train because he was injured. Probably bollocks but is better than the alternative...

Tony's latest twitterings..... on 10:46 - Aug 2 with 1368 views | rsonist | Said this before but look at all the talented reprobates HR's indulged during his career. Merson at Portsmouth half-cut and never turning up for training (but never disruptive). Past evidence proves HR is not so stupid that he'd easily throw away a winning lottery ticket. If he can't find a way to keep a lid on Adel to the benefit of the team as a whole then I feel confident the behaviour must be serious enough to warrant departure.
Tony's latest twitterings..... on 10:48 - Aug 2 with 1364 views | bpr11 | Adel to Fulham confuses me in that they have Berbatov, I can not see a way of any team fitting these two in the same starting line up. I feel if he goes there he will find himself on the bench as much, if not more than he was with us. My humble opinion is that Adel was fantastic during a Championship wining campaign but he has been living off that now for two seasons with not much progression or improvement (off field/on field) to show for it apart from one or two ocassions. i would be disappointed to see him go but I think the wave of hysteria from some when it does happen is probably not warranted for a player, who on the face of it, sees QPR as nothing more than stepping stone that he can not wait to get away from every summer. I for one would be happy with this extra level of drama left the club although I will miss his skill and tricks greatly.
| Oh yeah, justice is done!. Not actual justice, but what I wanted to happen, which is basically the same thing. |

Tony's latest twitterings..... on 08:39 - Aug 2 by fakekerby | Adel has strops, moments where he thinks he's god's gift, everyone knows this - just put an arm around the lad, tell him he's wanted and that he's vital, it clearly worked last time... but instead, we'll just let him do as he wants, wash our hands of him and sell him for sod all. |
LOL! "Put an arm around him and things will be all good.." How can Harry put an arm around the guy when he never trains and doesn't want to be here? I'm afraid Adel's credit has run low in my bank and it's time he moves on...

only Remy scored more goals than him last season, no one got more assists. In February, only 8 other players in the league had made more goal scoring opportunities for their team mates. I think it's fans like you that don't quite get it. You think that to be good enough in the Prem he has to score 20 and assist 20 too, the same as he did in the Championship, which makes no sense. This is a terribly boring argument now, though. QPR either need to lower their price so someone takes him, or start re-integrating him into the squad.
