Russia invade Ukraine on 10:36 - Mar 4 by Catullus
Whether Putin is or isn't a black belt, why is it relevant to Russia invading Ukraine?
Proberbly got there because the thread starter asked about why some of the media think this Putin as being a rugged strongman when he is obviously not, put the prick in a small room with a Ukrainian farmer of the same age and see who comes out, I doubt it would be Putin.

I see China did not broadcast the IOC president's opening speech where he heavily criticised Russia illegal invasion of Ukraine.
Think that rather proves China supports Russia actions.
Support is probably pushing it. Not picking sides is closer to the mark.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Bollix. They chose their side when they informed Russia that America approached them in an effort to avert war. They are now playing their cards close to their chest as they do not want ordinary Chinese realise that they support aggression/invasion. If Russia had quickly succeeded in their aims they would be pushing a pro-Russia narrative
It is far better to grasp the universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring. - Carl Sagan

Why don't you change the record, how about criticising the country carrying out the mass murders instead posting twitter links from some non entity
Putin is a dreadful and cruel person and he deserves to be tried for crimes against humanity. The People of the Ukraine are heroic.
But this did not start when the invasion started. Experts say it took 10 to 15 years to get here.
It started with dirty Russian money pouring into the uk, money that was stolen from the russian people. Likewise via Trump in America. Putin became emboldened and this war is the inevitable result of all the corruption and greed.
Johnson is up to his neck in all this.
Probably best if you stick to flags, and leave geopolitics to people who might understand. This video is for them, not you.

Dirty Russian money, that's not where this started. Of course the government have been played for fools by Russians, they threw money around and our idiot politicians lapped it up but this war was triggered by the EU cosying up to Ukraine, by Uraine wanting to be "Westernised" but even so Putin has had to lie to his own people to justify going to war.
What are Putin's demands, well we can ignore the Nazification comments, they are false but he demands that Ukraine will never be allowed to join NATO or the EU.
Putin may have hoped that so much Russian money across Europe would prevent any major responses, or at least water them down but he was wrong.
You attack the UK and USA there but what about Germany, they were so deep in Russian pockets they opposed sending materiel to Ukraine, they opposed more severe sanctions like removing access to SWIFT and all because they rely so heavily on Russian gas and oil because they had closed down their own nuclear energy production. They weren't the only European country that tried to water down sanctions either.
Now of course, having seen what Putin is doing and the threats he has made, it has brought all of Europe on board. Putin's war has had the opposite of his desired effect, it has united Europe and NATO again, it even has Finland moving towards joining NATO.
You always seem to attack only the UK and USA but look at where else the Russians have their money and influence, it's not just about posh houses and super yachts, their grip on German energy supply was a massive influence for a short while. happily though, Scholz eventually showed he does have a backbone.

Biden’s America have done everything right so far to contain this.
UK under Johnson has taken Russian money and is compromised.
Again, it's not only the UK that has taken Russian money, show some balance mun. I forget though, you're not interested in balance just any reason to attack Westminster.
Don't you remember people asking what had happened to Biden, he said nothing for days.
What about Germany opposing sanctions?
You say you understand but you choose to ignore the bad/wrong stuff the EU members do and what they don't do because you only really want to attack the English.

At least we can agree about Putin I guess.
The whole Biden family is compromised by Russian, Ukrainian and Chinese money. As are most of the main polician's families. And Kilkennyjack thinks Johnson is dirty, he obviously only looks at what is going on with the Tories.

We all remember his heroes Leanne wood and Jeremy Corbyn falling over themselves to deflect blame from Russia when they used a nerve agent to murder people in our own streets.
We know where these peoples loyalties lie. It’s not with this country or it’s people.

Beautifully put Flyynie
Corbyn like all the old Middle class bleeders for the poor enjoy living here as they are free to opine whatever they want
This is nothing to do with anyone but Putin and his lust for the USSR back to base

Corbyn's been taking direction from Moscow for 40+ years. He's hardly going to stop now.
If nothing else though this conflict demonstrates that the belief Russia would last more than five minutes in a conventional war with NATO is sorely misguided. That convoy stuck outside Kyiv would be a burning pyre 40 miles long by now if the A-10's were let loose on it.

Armed to the teeth: Sweden: 5,000 AT4 anti-tank weapons, Denmark: 2,700 anti-tank weapons, Norway: 2,000 anti-tank weapons United Kingdom: 2,000 NLAW short-range anti-tank missiles Finland: 1,500 single-shot anti-tank weapons Germany: 1,000 anti-tank weapons Netherlands: 400 rocket-propelled grenade launchers Belgium: 200 anti-tank weapons Estonia: Unspecified number of Javelin anti-tank missiles.
This makes a total of some 14,800 weapons, on top of Ukraine’s existing equipment. Add to that high grade military explosives to make devastation bombs/IED's seen in Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan etc. A posting into absolute hell!

The trouble is with the Russian army stalled and taking heavy losses Putin has resorted to deliberately attacking civil targets with artillery, rockets and cruise missles.
