Oh yes the two guys in my gym who are Dan grades and have explained to me obtaining a simple judo black belt is a piece of cake so that also explains as soon as i saw Putin perform even in his younger days that i immediately came to the conclusion that an average fit guy with decent hands would have little difficultly sorting him out and the reason for that going by what i have been told here is just having a black belt in judo is quite easy to achieve and does not mean much to lets say obtaining a BJJ black belt which is obviously a lot harder to get. |

Who said the lads in my gym said any thing about strikes or fast hands that is my personal opinion on how fake and unskilled Putin is, they just said getting there first black belt was really easy, one of them is also a BJJ black belt and that is the discipline he uses quite successfully to get us to tap, personally i would confidently expect to put either of them away pretty quickly in a real match up as it always starts on the feet, of course if they did manage to get hold of me and take me down then my arse would start tweaking lol, anyway the UFC proves Judo is the weakest of all the disciplines because the only athlete to have gained major success actually using Judo and with a Judo background was Rhonda Rousey, and we all saw how she got knocked senseless once her opponents realised she was a one trick pony, Kabib has blackbelts in Judo but preferred to use his immense wrestling for most of his success maybe there are others but you would have to enlighten me and name me some as i can not recall any where Judo was there main discipline. | | | |

There are loads of black belts around, but only a few get to win competitive competitions. I know loads of black belts, who haven't won titles. I bet your mates down the gym haven't either.The soviet Union was a huge country with many practitioners. How many boxers win titles? How many able footballers get to play in the premiership? Hoe many county darts players get to win tournaments? Not saying he was an elite practitioner, but a black belt. | | | |

The footage i have seen him doings shows him performing the correct techniques, yes it lacks a bit on dynamism, but that may be because of his age and that they are doing light practise for the camera.
I've seen him do Harai goshi, taitosh,i ogoshi and a tomenage when he went straight into kuzure kesa gatame hold down. Those aren't particularly advanced techniques, but he performed them well.
