Ashley Eastham has accepted a two year deal to move to Fleetwood. The move will suit Eastham who comes from the Blackpool area, after three years at Spotland in which he found himself outside the starting eleven for long periods.

His return to the starting line up was seen as a contributory factor to the up turn in form in the second half of the season, and it would seem that many Dale supporters are sad to see him leave the club.

The second departure is the club captain Olly Lancashire. He's accepted a deal to sign for Shrewsbury. Like Eastham, he's been at the club for three seasons following a free transfer move from Aldershot following their relegation from the Football League.
