Dale's teenage full back Andy Cannon has had his deal at Spotland extended by twelve months.

Just days after winning the club's Most Improved Player of the Year, Andy Cannon has had his contract at Spotland extended by another twelve months.

The deal was automatically extended as the club took up an option to extend the deal following an inspired run of form late in the season in which he established himself in the first team after graduating from the club's youth team.

The nineteen year old finished the season with seventeen starts for the first after making his debut in the memorable ten man win away at Leyton Orient back in September.
