That was only his second Premier League start and whilst he was disappointed in the result he is looking to push on from it and get more action for the Swans. “It was good to get my first start, even if it was disappointing we lost against Norwich,”McEachran told the Western Mail. “But I was pleased with my performance and I thought I did well and the team did well in parts. “But the important thing now is that hopefully I can push on from it. “The FA Cup game against Bolton was only my second 90 minutes in two or three months so I know my match fitness is not quite there. “In the Norwich game there were times it was hard to get into it because my fitness wasn’t at 100%. I still thought I did okay, but I feel I will get to my best when I get sharper. “The training intensity is really good here so I don’t think it will be a problem and in a few more matches I’ll get there. “Brendan’s been a big help since I came here,” said McEachran. “He’s not gone into detail about my performances, but everyone’s been great to help me settle. “He’s done really well at Swansea, getting the club promoted and how they’ve done since. “All over England, people can’t believe how well Swansea are doing. Everyone wants to play with the same style and it’s good for the club he signed the new contract recently.” Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
