The Boxing Day visit to Crewe is not an all ticket game for Dale supporters, with supporters able to purchase tickets on the day at Gresty Road.

The Alex offer a four tier admission policy for away supporters. Adults cost £19 to get in, OAP's cost £15, Junior's £8.50 and under elevens can gain admission for £4.50.

However, in a similar style to Northampton Town, they do not accept cash at the turnstiles and supporters have to get their ticket before the game. We cannot confirm whether this involves a Portakabin or other such mobile jackleg cabins.

Dale fans are also advised that tickets are available at Spotland if they wish to avoid the expected queues at Crewe.

Saturday will be Dale's first trip to Crewe since Paul Williams scored for Dale, prompting chants of "sign him up".
