At the cowboys game today, go Ravens. I’m on an escalator at the stadium and I see a guy in front of me has a Leicester City tattoo on his calf. I start talking to him about it, he asks where I’m from and who I support. I tell him QPR, he asked me if I know his mate Mel from Northolt, I said yes, I’ve got his book. He says he’s featured in that book. I think his name was Ian. Small world. he’s over in Texas on two weeks holiday.

I know it's Dallas and all that, but I was surprised the Leicester man was allowed to bring cattle into the stadium.

17 games, probably don't want to lose more that 7 games (record of 10-7) last year the packers made the playoffs at 9-8... that's sailing close to the wind. Bengals problem is the NFL North schedule is hard this year, but I think they'll be fine as they're too good.

Aha I forgot about the England game. We are heading to Bodeans and they always show red zone. We booked to go to the one on Poland Street, we do it every year.
We tend to leave at the two minute warning if the game is done. That way it’s a half an hour walk to 7 sisters and you get straight on the tube. If you leave any later, you can be queueing for an hour for the tube and you might not make much of the England game.

The bengals blew it though. Settling for a field goal from 50+ when they should have been more aggressive. Ravens gift wrapped a win there. More games like that please.

Before Burrows INT, they were 3 points ahead, in Ravens territory, they could've even run the clock out by being smart. 3mins left or whatever. worst case was settling for a FG, 6 point lead and leaving us with 30 seconds with 0 timeouts. wild game

The 49ers collapsed like Spurs during their second half. Their kicker got injured early doors with no replacemnt available, very strange for this sport!

They have injuries but their defence was poor, doubtful they will go far in the end of season games.

6 of us went to the Spurs game today, one of my mates is a bears fan so I’m pleased I they won for him. But we all agreed, we are done with the Jacksonville Jaguars now. Not spending any money watching them again over here. I hope they don’t come back for a few more years, but I’m not sure what kind of deal they have signed with Wembley.
Was tempted to go to the game next weekend at Wembley, but I can’t face seeing them. Sorry Boston, otherwise I’d have bought you a beer!

Yep absolutely done with the jags. They do not need 2 games here. Fine with the Wembley one. With prices and the same teams every year I didn't renew my season tickets - first time I haven't been to an NFL game in 10 years, covid aside. Will save to go to New Orleans or wait until they come to Europe (which is more likely with the Germany and soon Madrid games).
Defo going towards a 16 game stateside season and at least 1 international game for every team.

I went out to the US to watch my team in a home game for the first time a couple of years ago and it completely blew me away. The noise and atmosphere and tension was completely electric. I honestly thought i was going to feint after one third down sack I was screaming so hard and could literally feel adrenaline pounding through my veins.

By comparison the UK games are absolutely awful. I'm amazed they still sell so well. The atmosphere is so neutral and exhibition-like it completely sucks the joy out of the game. You just settle in awaiting a crucial third-down snap and some prick taps you on the shoulder trying to get past to get to the bar. Unbearable. They need to find a way to segregate actual fans of the specific teams into dedicated sections for me as the entire point of going to see your team is completely lost at those games at the moment.

I disagree with you RE atmosphere. You do get the loud boos from the 'home' crowd when the away team is on 3rd down... but it's not as loud as a real 'home' game.

People are up and down all the time, happened in Dallas 3 weeks ago when I was there. its also got worse at cricket, people used to wait till the end of the over before they moved out of their seat. I think it's just a society thing.

I love the London games and have been every year, but 3 weeks back to back is too much. We always pick one game now.

Jags need a rest or go play in Germany. They aren't moving to London anytime soon like what was mentioned, not when theyve invested so much in their stadium and potentially getting a new one.

Roger Goodell (the commissioner) mentioned Saturday, that the season will be 18 games soon (from 17) and they want an overseas international game every week! spread out all over the world

Didn't see any of the Bengals, we were interested in the new starting Pats QB...and he looks pretty good. Just need to get the injured players back up to speed, sign a decent running back and maybe next season will be interesting.
