tomorrow can't come quick enough 14:17 - Oct 16 with 2302671 views | batman | Not for us, but for Bury. i was credit checking a potential customer and decided to nosey onto BFC's file and was (or maybe not) supprised to see a new CCJ for circa £22k lodged only Wednesday this week. looks like they are in need of a bumper crowd tomorrow to settle some bills

tomorrow can't come quick enough on 14:15 - Jul 22 by ParkinsGimp | Now back to the issue LOL I am astounded at the lot down the road. They really are priceless. Anyone else would shut up take the punishment , since I think 12 points is nothing in comparison to what they have done. As suggested by other posters I would of expected 30 points or a two league demotion. I wont be going giggle anymore and giving them my hard earned cash, so they can swindle a charity. |
It would be brilliant if nobody at all went to gigg when we play them, or better still turn up to applaud our players when the team bus arrives then go home. Can’t see us allowing them to sell tickets for our home game as obviously we won’t see any money from that. Tbh I have not even looked when we play them as I doubt they will exist by then. Wonder where SD1 is these days? Strangely he seems to have disappeared off the radar!

tomorrow can't come quick enough on 16:21 - Jul 22 with 6172 views | HK_Dale | He's made the front page of the FT online today: https://on.ft.com/2XV2nuR "The links between a former football chair and a failed P2P lender Lendy made £27m of its £152m of loans to companies controlled by Stewart Day" Things may be getting a lot worse for him... hopefully

Thanks for that H K. Sadly Can’t get on it without subscription so any news where he is? I can imagine him running around with the lags in his bURY shorts, saying how one day he will be back and they will all be part of his plans!!!

No news on where he is - "he couldn't be reached for comment" Lendy (platform that has gone bust) had lent £27M to 5 companies owned by Day... most of the buildings are part finished or did not begin construction. Another P2P lender owns a £1.6m mortgage over the ground. Investors in Lendy face losing 93% of their money and would imagine the FCA will be seeking some kind of recourse against Lendy but not sure they can go after Day directly...

Cheers. lendy, as regulated by the fca, will only face issues if they have deliberately misled or been negligent or fraudulent in what they were offering. Probably a case they have not been and that people were stupid enough to invest expecting silly returns, when in truth even a qualified financial advisor will struggle to get returns of 10% a year without a medium risk minimum approach. I have seen investments grow by over 90% in a year, yes high risk emerging markets stuff, but also seen them drop 55% in a year. It’s the risk you take but strangely I rarely got thanked for making my clients 90% in a year, or even 35% over 2 years. A lot however moaned they had lost 55% in a year!!!!

tomorrow can't come quick enough on 12:55 - Jul 23 with 5558 views | EllDale | Another player gone. 18 year old Joe Adams had signed for Brentford for an undisclosed fee. Undisclosed so the creditors don't find out?

Yes will be interesting how the friendly goes tomorrow. Presumably they need water and electricity, staff and food/drink - not sure who will pay for it? [Post edited 23 Jul 2019 19:09]

Our printer will not give us any books until we pay. We are hoping to get 3 games completed and lots of fans will give us the money to pay the printer. Meanwhile come and collect something like a raffle ticket, from our alternative printer, Mickey Thomas, sorted for us while he works on our other projects."
