It's time for the old north bankers, new day spankers and east stand bangers to unite. This thread may disappear in days, it may not. But on here we need 'unification ideas' how to show and display our support for the side. It's ok to say 'get behind the boys' but that isnt good enough. There was a time when the club did their bit, they don't anymore, and for those who raise an eyebrow, this is how the palace corner started. Trust me they have only been talked about as passionate fans for a few years, most of us know this.
We need to unite, or forever repent because if this club does go down, it goes down fighting.

I go to every home match, make as much noise as I can (not easy on the Siuthern side of the East Stand). I buy the merchandise and I am a member of the Trust. I will also be supportive of Curt In his quest on this forum.

Well for starters lets have the WHOLE ground not just a small section in the east around the drummer, singing, cheering, providing the atmosphere that Curt deserves on Wednesday.
Cant get excited about the FA cup this year so lets try out a few of the fringe players, even the U21's as far as i am concerned.
6 points against Sunderland and Watford which is not beyond us, and it will be a different story. WBA away another good chance.
Irrespective of whether its the right or wrong decision, if anyone deserves our support it is Alan Curtis.
Just hope the board back him with a proven striker, personally I would rather get Awstin than the Italian who will need a few weeks to settle. |  | | |

We don't need gimmicks like clappers v Bournemouth. We need ALL fans to make some noise including the grumpy sods who usually sit and stare. It'll spread from the NE to all parts of the ground and the players and ref will feel it on the pitch. We could also do with some fresh songs about Curt. That sort of shit is worth considering. As artificial and plastic as it was, it got the whole stadium involved and created a reasonably raucous atmosphere. At least until Bournemouth? scored. When you take away the ridiculousness of grown men slamming clappers together, it has a galvanising effect.
Like most people, I would much prefer the whole stadium got rocking with pro-Swansea/Curtis chants and the tribal na-na-na-na chant (whatever it is called), but when you have 80% of the noise concentrated into 10% of the stadium, gimmicks get the crowd going.
Having said that, I'd love to hear the whole ground sing 'he's one of our own' and 'Alan Curtis' barmy army all night on Wednesday. I'm sure it will start off raucous, but as always, will be governed by what happens on the pitch. | | | |

If any speculation about poor attitude and behaviour is evident or reported from within the dressing room then that player or players should be run out of town wry quickly. It's time for that spirt of 2001, no prisoners, for our club and for the honour of our club.

If the overpaid can't handle it and start getting gobby and affect our club negatively the same passion should be used to fck them off.

Its been a calamitous season so far but really now we know where we are.
Curt is unproven as a manager but he knows the game inside out.
It IS about Swansea and we CAN dig in as fans as the Georides/Mackems will and we have to front up and make the Liberty an uncomfortable, horrible,unwelcoming hell hole for away teams. No more nice guys and Stewards... LET THE FANS STAND | |

What chapel did he attend.
Public speaking was a forte of many welsh "working class" people because of recitations and prayer readings in Chapels sadly now crumbling.
It gave kids confidence in speaking and its one of the good things I leaned at chapel.
Ive spoken many times at Seminars and ran Training schools where many of the candidates were choked by their backgrounds and it held them back.
It also gave me the confidence not to be overawed by anyone at a conference or meeting and to be able to articulate your views coherently without overpowering the room . | |
