It's time for the old north bankers, new day spankers and east stand bangers to unite. This thread may disappear in days, it may not. But on here we need 'unification ideas' how to show and display our support for the side. It's ok to say 'get behind the boys' but that isnt good enough. There was a time when the club did their bit, they don't anymore, and for those who raise an eyebrow, this is how the palace corner started. Trust me they have only been talked about as passionate fans for a few years, most of us know this.
We need to unite, or forever repent because if this club does go down, it goes down fighting.

What chapel did he attend.
Public speaking was a forte of many welsh "working class" people because of recitations and prayer readings in Chapels sadly now crumbling.
It gave kids confidence in speaking and its one of the good things I leaned at chapel.
Ive spoken many times at Seminars and ran Training schools where many of the candidates were choked by their backgrounds and it held them back.
It also gave me the confidence not to be overawed by anyone at a conference or meeting and to be able to articulate your views coherently without overpowering the room .

It's a shame they didn't have a training course to give you the same skills for the Internet!

He will get the support of the city not just the people in the stadium, he is well respected throughout Swansea. I will never forget what he did for my dad when he passed away what a true gent and ambassador he is.
I am also sure he will be letting the players know that he will take no messing or bad attitudes.

Agree its the simple things, many years ago my boy left his boots behind in one of his soccer schools, he rang me to tell me and I obviously offered to pick them up, he could have left them in reception but no, he fetched them to me and sat in the kitchen and had a cuppa.
Awesome man, true gentleman, and the word legend is bandied around but he is.

Are you saying that you supported the Swans less when Monk was in charge? When Laudruo was in charge? We support the club whoever's in charge, not because Curtis is boss for 6 months.
What happens if we lose at home to Sunderland? Will you support the Swans more or less after that?

And the support in the stands has been nowhere near enough, so that's what this thread is for, don't know if anyone agrees but our support up at old Trafford the weekend was terrible until we equalised. Palace though we were excellent

What I'm saying is I did more singing, was more voicederous, more direct, passionate and active in the support of my club in 2001 when the club needed it than I have been say this season. Back then they needed it, and this is the FIRST time the club and community have needed it since then.
I hope that makes sense. It does to me.

The noise we made against Florist in the semi, against Lids when Ferrie dropped one of their northern monkeys, against crapduff etc, let's replicate it all season. Turn every game into a cup final, let the noise we know we're capable of act as an intimidation to opposition fans and teams. We all know Palace's "passionate ultras" have only been noisy for a few years. We've done it home and away for a lot longer
