Just before Joey joined the group, replacing Ron Griffiths - and The Iveys became Badfinger - they recorded "Come And Get It" for Apple in 1969.
WELL ...
Quite a few months ago, after finding out the record had sold over 1,250,000 worldwide - Ron Griffiths finally contacted Garth Teasdale at Apple Corps.
After a lot of research, he contacted Ron, and the estates of Peter, Tom and Mike with the wonderful news that they were to be awarded a gold disc for "Come And Get It" - a delay of over 55 years!!

Cardiff Arms now long gone was the place to be for local live music .
Adam and Eve was another hotspot , acts scheduled to start as the punters returned to the boozer from The Stadium .
Badfinger , never looked into their Swansea backstory in too much depth though .
