The problem is that you want it all to be nice and tidy, it isn't always so is it? Check out Lallana and Paul Rideout. You could easily make a claim that Lallana is essentially a Hampshire lad.
Check out the history of Ash.

So, it appears that all those villages in Surrey were villages that sprouted out because of the growth of the Army Camp. ie a lot of those people had Aldershot employment connections, but presumably Surrey didn't want to let the land go to Hampshire, so allowed the hamlets and villages to form part of the Hants Urban area, although remaining in Surrey. With an intellect as limited as his, is it any wonder he has players from Surrey and Sussex in his list of Hampshire's greatest footballers? But, he's so blinded by his own hubris that he doesn't realize how ridiculous that looks. As, like drawer, hubris is a word consisting of more than four letters, the simpleton will undoubtedly have to look up what it means.
If he'd been in a class of eleven-year-olds, assigned the task of compiling an accurate list of Hampshire's greatest footballers, he'd have found himself in the position he usually found himself in, at his village school: bottom of the class.
