The club are expected to have a €10mill turn over this season. So cant afford these players that Saints are kindly buying and loaning them. I doubt they can cover much of these players wages.
Their best player is valued at €3mill.
They play in a tin pot that Tall Paul can rip up.
Edit Pompey only turned over £12.5Mill - Whats the point :-)

Anyone have a listen? They had the Bournemouth owner in there. He’s comes across very well, knows the club has limitations and they have plans to try and improve. The thing that stood out the most, was that they own multiple clubs, but the end game is to provide Bournemouth with players. Compare that to our owners who seem to be using us to build up their Turkish club. If you haven’t seen we are about to sign 2 Brazilians who are then off to Turkey. |

Thanks to 130 we know Pompey are a sleeping giant and one of the biggest clubs outside of the Prem. Yet strangely in this article they seemed to be over looked . Derby get a mention as they are newly promoted, yet no blue few. Weird must be a typo

Ps I see Plymouth have been renamed to Wayne Rooneys Plymouth… The locals are already annoyed with him as he’s sat on a couch in Germany and not working at the club.

Saints need to get away from trying to putting all their effort into finding that gem that’s going to get them mega bucks in the future. That strategy cost us relegation in the first place. Hopefully lessons have been learnt as we bought some experience this season.
In the last 5 seasons we have had 2 hits (Lavia and Tino) and 15 misses (Dnepo, Salisu, Diallo, Simeu, Small, Baz , kotcha, Mara, Edozie , Larios, Abu, sulemanu, Charles, Awe, Gunn). We lost more on the duds than we will ever make on the gems.
Also we should give a chance to players in the accademy. Dom Ballard would have scored more than Seko Mara given the same amount of chances. |

I thought Brooks would be a great signing, but he really flatters to deceive. He dosent seem to be able to do it for 90mins. Offered nothing and has no pace.
Adam Armstrong has all the pace in the world, yet not once last night did he take his man on. Every time he passed backwards and the ball ended up on the halfway line.
Che i thought battled gamely but had little service. But then again im not convinced he was really showing for the ball.
Whats happened to Fraser, he was a key part of our record run. |
