Thread | Refs in Scotland and in general

Don’t know if any of you’ s have been following this situation north of the border but things seem to have got right out of hand and it seems that out of everyone i talk to about it, I’m the only one siding with the refs.
They don’t have an easy job and if it wasn’t for them then games wouldn’t be able to go ahead so why do they come in for so much stick! Death threats and being pressurised to resign from a job you love doing is unacceptable and blame should be directed at the clubs and players. Celtic in particular in this Scottish example.
The SFA should heavily fine Neil Lennon for his outbursts and relative players also. In future cases i would threaten managers with 5 game bans as well.
People seem to think refereeing is a stroll in the park i can assure you this is not the case.

Thread | Atmosphere / chants thread

Just wondering if the lads that sit up at the back of the TDS or anybody in the sandy actually as any specific chants for staurday VS oldham or is it just a case of 'we'll use the Bury ones from last season'
Also many complain on here about the atmosphere at home games saying its the same song on repeat every home game so why is there no new song threads etc.

Most likely a post for the younger members of the messageboard but was just wondering if anyone on here has an online fifa 11 league set up for the messageboard users or just one that i could join. Im on the Xbox 360 console.
One last point Football Manager 2011 - worth getting?

Thread | Deep Breath and move on!

Still got that sickening feeling in the gut that has been there since that 3rd FCUM goal was scored? YEAH! Me too. But it’s over now. It’s time to just take a deep breath, GO ENJOY THE REST OF THE WEEKEND and go back to what we dale fans do best.
Can’t see it being easy for HillCroft to raise the spirits of the lads in the next couple of days but they will and when Saturday comes around us FANS have to SUPPORT “Team Rochdale” and help get the team back to a winning mentality.
The atmosphere is always great away from home and I’m sure this will be no different, but patience is needed and the players will need to be backed 100%. At Spotland the atmosphere does go under the boil abit this needs to change. Spotland needs to be turned back into a fortress where away teams CANT out sing home support therefore the away teams players feel the pressure a lot more than they do at the moment. I’m not saying this will guarantee winning result but I’m sure it will help!
Remember this is one cup loss (Yes an embarrassing cup loss but only a cup loss) and the league and staying in the league is and should be TEAM ROCHDALE’s only goal. The postiveness that was created when HILLCROFT took over needs to be brought back there’s too much negativeness around the place at the moment. (Some may argue rightly so that is your opinion, I wouldn’t take that away from you).
To summarise we have had a bit of a purple patch of late now as a team let’s try our best to not let it become a major concern and get behind the lads on Saturday at Sheff Wed to get the 3 more points closer to keeping our NPOWER LEAGUE 1 status.
Things Aren’t SO bad…when you look at them.

Dont know if i am the first to post this but to be honest i cba trailing through past posts to find out.
Well after 3 washes 3 matches and £40 of my hard earned money iv decided enough is enough with these awful quality football shirts Cabrini/JD are producing.
At some point today the cabrini badge on the left arm has began to peel away and the STICKER for the name has jus rubbed off completely.
Simple not good enough and for £40!
So hope this is a informative review of our NEW home shirt for those awaiting them.

The easiet and most convenient way for me to keep up to date.
To get to the point is anyone else whgo is using there phone getting the headlines that run on the marquee (at the top) building up that they are now covering the whole of the banner and a lot of the first posts?
Alternatively Col is there a mobile site that can be used?

Was just looking through these and was extremely surprised to see that Super Chris O'Grady managed to get a hat trick for us way back in 1995 against Cheltenham Town away.
