You have one mode and one claim and you use it on all people regardless of reality.

Just because the Conservatives were sh*t it doesn’t mean Labour are excused when they make bad decisions.

Grow up and move away from partisan politics and you may be able to have a productive conversation in future

Grow up I've probably seen more life in my years than you ever have, the Tories over the last 5yrs havev been the worse in living memory.

I'm no way excusing Labour of anything, I've no faith in them either.

I'll just repeat what I keep saying, Labout have been in power for under 3months yet have been dragged over the coals virtually since the first days.

Absorb that and kjeep your Groiw up coments to yourself you know nothing about me.

Thanks in advance

You’re moaning about poor old labour getting stick for lying about not raising taxes, then doing it anyway. Amongst many other things.

Just because conservatives are sh*t, it doesn’t excuse labour making poor decisions or absolve them from their own obviously bad policies which will make our lives worse.

Grow up.

What have they done then? nothing from what I see you are just assumming and listening to rumours, only one I've heard is about the withdrawal of winter payments, which is totally wrong in my opinion and the threat of them putting taxes up, what taxes who knows.

What poor decisions have/are making asumming they have, seeing as you're a self styled expert on the subject what decisions should they make?

What decisions would the Tories make to solve the problems they created.?

You'll have the Answers I'm sure.

I already said I think i'll take Labour at least 2 terms to sort anything out. The WHA caught me by surprise but I expected tax rises.

This Asylum bill, the tories have been incharge for 14 years, it's all their mess. I will only blame labour for what happens from now on. If they fail to sort it out then they carry some of the blame too. I'll give them 5 years.

Anybody who is already blaming Labour is either a rabid tory, an empty headed cockwomble or a troll and a WUM.

Can't believe people are still leaning towards the Tories after what they have done to the country, "none are so blind are those who can't see" indeed, Unbelievable Jeff!

I’ll assume that is aimed at me so in response I’ll set you the same challenge I have set others. Nobody has succeeded so far. Find one post, just one out of the thousands I have made on here where I praise or show any support for the Conservative Party. You will find hundreds of me hammering them.

I also stand by the opinion that Sir Keir Starmer is a far bigger and more accomplished liar than anyone we’ve had before. It is ingrained in him and will define his tenure in number ten. I am happy to give examples if you like?

Not at you particularly no, I don't care who supports who, I don't support ANY party my feelings on all politicians as remained the same for as long as I can remember none of them deserve my support, its all on this form and other outlets.

I don't know if he's a lair or not Bungle will take some beating on that front, they all lie right down to the grass roots of politics' its not a new concept.

My point is and always as been is that Labour are getting criticised and blamed because they find themselves having to clean up the pile of shit the Tories left 99% of the posters on this thread have proved my point.

That is the point of my OP!

Out of interest and as neither a Labour or Tory voter, indeed one who criticises all of them, can you be specific about Starmer's lies?

What lies has he told, please? Any links or evidence? genuine question.

No that’s just political spin. There are a lot of multi party committees that scrutinise government spending. The shadow cabinet are also there to scrutinise, Privy council, OBR, HOL etc. Rachael reeves was shadow chancellor for nearly four years. If it’s only now she’s realising the economy is in a bad state she is even more incompetent than those that were in charge!

They are just laying the ground work so when they absolutely hammer working people (and they will) they can say “it’s not our fault guv” even though they campaigned (and won) on a platform that they wouldn’t raise taxes.

Tens of billions on the Rwanda scheme, similar on the failed PPF and test and trace, Truss's budger, HS2, all Labours fault i guess. I despair of the ppl of this country. What do they actually want?

I still think Labour contributed to the illegal migration problem over many years by opposing tougher controls, but this related problem is down to the Tories.

Labour are complicit as they would have let more in and given them more money!

Same with COVID. Every giveaway of cash labour said the same thing “you’re not going far enough, we would do more!!”

There was more than a little Tory incompetence and chaos, but I agree that the present dire financial situation is largely down to the very large sums paid (and borrowed) for COVID support, energy support and help with the cost of living, and in each area Labour said at the time the help was insufficiently generous. This is the alleged 14 years of Tory misrule (not forgetting that the first five years was actually shared with the Lib Dems, and this was the period of maximum austerity).

Don’t have time to go into detail as I’m travelling today but here’s a shortlist for you to peruse at your own pleasure.

1: his ten pledges. Needed support and votes from left side of the party so pledged to carry on his friend Jeremy Corbyn’s work with 10 pledges, scrapping tuition fees, universal credit, nationalisation etc. The second he got the votes he needed he immediately backtracked on these pledges, stated publicly that Corbyn was never his friend and began to systematically purge the party of Corbyn and his allies.

2. Cronyism. Had the bare faced cheek to look down the camera and announce to the nation that the days of cronyism and corruption were over whilst he gave all his mates from his old chambers peerages and government jobs. Donors free access passes to number ten.

3. Lied about the investigation process into Diane Abbott. Said he couldn’t comment because it was ongoing when it actually had finished months before.

4. “Im on the side of the pensioners” when he needed the votes. Immediately withdrew winter payments the second he got their votes. Will be hammering pensions next.

He will literally say anything to consolidate his power. Anyone who opposes him has been purged. He’s an absolute tyrant. We are about to witness the most deceitful, authoritarian regime since the interregnum. And there’s nothing we can do about it.

Yep the Conservatives were a discrace, but Tweedledum has now replaced Tweedledee!

Labour with its 14 billion spent on public sector pay increases.....11.6 billion for overseas climate aid..... relentless billions to pay for inactive economic migrants (so much for being fruit and veg pickers hey!) that cost the taxpayer 8 billion a year.....5,000 hotel bed "buffer" laying empty and waiting for more illegal migrants to arrive that? Means that Labour is will not be "smashing the gangs". Etc, etc, etc, etc,

The immigration issue is down to the conservatives, they have to own this mess. The Conservatives had a massive majority in parliament and the ability to legislate and force through anything they wanted to.

The bottom line is that the parts of government saw immigration as a means of boosting growth across the economy and that was the key driver for the Government and Treasury. Immigration was a means of swelling the State coffers which could then be used for government spending. The Conservatives couldn’t agree a coordinated policy on immigration which is why they had a split in the party between those who wanted tighter controls and those who didn’t.

What Labour said or did had no bearing on the Conservative Party.

No surprise and the way (100% serious) things are going in Orwellian U.K? If a British Cop shared the same opinion as the German one in the video he would, in the future possibly face criminal charges, disciplinary action or both. The Police Federation better keep quiet!

Yesi Indeed, we've had approx two months of "smashing the gangs" by having thousands more (7,477) arrive since election, and having 5,000 extra hotel beds allocated for illegal’s so that they can be further incentivised with freebies to use those "small boat gangs" in the first place.
