Moles 23:53 - Jun 18 with 2095 views | Jack123 | If you had a mole that changed shape, then started getting bumps would you seek medical advice? I'm not even sure if it's called a mole, just a dark blot, which started off flat, now it's got a couple of raised heads, a few people have raised concerns about it, just wondering what to do.. Would it be best to ignore it? If I have got skin cancer nothing can be done, so just crack on? Too be honest I hate doctors, but comparing what I have taken a picture of, and it looks like melanoma , with the pictures.. What would you do get it checked out or ferk it, I'm thinking ferk it, I just don't want to know. .. ..

If they catch it early enough, it can be a matter of just sticking some cream on it
Moles on 07:44 - Jun 19 with 1998 views | Scotia | I've been to get moles checked twice after being nagged by the Mrs, I genuinely thought they were nothing. Both turned out to be cancer. One was treated with cream and the other had to be cut out there and then. Neither would have killed me but they've got to be checked. I wear SPF every day now too.
Moles on 07:49 - Jun 19 with 1995 views | STID2017 | Please get it checked mate. Skin cancer is a terrible disease, but can be tackled if caught early enough. Lost my lovely wife four years ago July 2nd to it. Would hate to see a fellow Jack going the same way. Get it done mate.

That's the other thing as you say mate. Protect yourself from the sun, even on dull days

Moles on 09:46 - Jun 19 with 1953 views | GixerJack | I had one checked a couple of weeks ago, it turned out to be nothing to worry about. It was only after finding out I realised how much it was playing on my mind. Get it checked brother. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Moles on 10:29 - Jun 19 with 1929 views | Lorax | Get it checked, the fear of finding out has stopped many from doing so and so caused their own death. I had something almost exactly as you described, a flat botch that sometimes itched and seemed raised. It was nothing in the end but still they told me to keep an eye on it and come back if it changes a lot.

Moles on 12:30 - Jun 19 with 1881 views | Flynnidine_Zidownes | Doctors are part of big pharma. Aren’t there any YouTubers you can get the truth from instead? Sarcasm: off. No seriously get it checked out, it will take five minutes and will probably be absolutely nothing to worry about.
Moles on 13:08 - Jun 19 with 1854 views | majorraglan | Get it checked out ASAP. I’ve got one I need to get checked and am going to speak to the doctor this week. I’ve been back and fore a few times over the years and had 2 taken off. One was donkeys years ago, went to the doctor about an unrelated issue, he spotted the mole and decided he wanted it removed. Second time, went about another mole and the nurse saw a second, black dot on my hand - no messing about it was removed the next week. It was a huge relief when I found it was all clear.

yes and it will also then give you peace of mind. Worrying about these things can make you ill too. My sister is an specialist Oncology nurse. She was diagnosed with Cancer and she admitted to me she saw the signs well before she did anything but she ignored them for a while. Then they told her it was inoperable and we thought we'd lost her so please don't wait. I hasten to add that we seem to have received a minor miracle, they told her 2 days ago that they think the tumour has gone. Initially she was told it was a matter of seeing how long they could keep her alive with 5 years being very optimistic, a 17% chance. The sooner you get checked, the better.

Good idea. My second one was checked by sending photos to the Dr. All the best. Even in my case it was straight forward and nothing to worry about.

Moles on 19:49 - Jun 23 with 1470 views | Togg | If there's anything which is new or doesn't seem quite right with your body internal or external...get it checked out . Make an appointment with your GP. The majority of the time it will probably be something straight forward. However, if it's something more sinister, the earlier you catch it the better the probable outcome will be. Basically, just don't leave it.
