Did ol Humpers have this age old problem on his mind when he sang his famous ditty! at last It's arrived, the silly season when grown adults go into meltdown as their Fave player may leave the club even though the player cares not a jot about them. With English interest of the WC now over, the attention of the meeja and all the football world has soon swung to the good old transfer window and the edifice of modern day slavery in action.

£5m... £10m... £20m... £40m...£85m the figures just get more baffling every Window and more obscene unless of course it is us selling and we want as much as possible for them.

There is always one transfer that sets everything off and it looks like ol Sabre Tooth Suarez has kicked it all off this year sold by a sneaky club to a club that are banned from buying players but decided to buy a banned player themselves. That's what money does I suppose it helps turn a blind eye.

So where do we fit into all this, as so often it almost always surrounds a forward and here we have Bony one of the old fashioned power houses of a centre forward. One I truly want us to keep for as long as we possibly can.

Whether the release clause, again very kindly leaked is accurate or not, it always makes you think and point the finger at someone and why they would do it! So again it is the Scousers who have a way with releasing confidential contracts to the Scouse loving meeja where the finger points. A once great club who now have no moral fibre about conducting business and how to show respect to others. Linked with two SCFC players in the modern age and twice the Release Clause(if accurate) has been made common knowledge mmm an easy statement to make and why not Wilf plays for my club and I do not want him sold. I find it odd that we would leak the value as that would serve no purpose to the club. The agent could and and by doing so make other clubs aware but the agent has said before that the player is not looking for a move so this only leaves one transgressor! LFC has this once proud club become a sly cesspit, jealous of United success who will stop at nothing until they start winning again and claim the moral high ground.

It will be interesting to see if Wilf turns up in the States but there again LFC will be in the States, just as they were when Allen was outed.

Of course in the end there is absolutely diddley squat you or I can do about things and I just hope that come season start we have a good enough squad to compete I somehow think that Don Huw will come up with something more for us.

We all sit and watch and bitch and snarl at the PC as the sharks and the pimps go about their work, as unedifying as it is but we would all love to see a player sold for top dollar so we ourselves help fuel the show!

Who would have thought that SCFC would be in the middle of a scrum involving Spurs Napoli and LFC about players being bought , sold or exchanged again it highlights how far we have come and makes you glad that others with a far cooler head are on the table playing the cards than you or I
