Well its hard to take a positive look on the performance at the moment in sulk mode  I know we shouldn't concern ourselves with our rivals up the road but that doesn't make sulksville any nicer.
The ref was a bit of an arse but the lack of performance from us was a difficult watch, spurs are a quality side but we let them at us a bit to much, confidence was high surly after Europe but maybe we are just having European hangovers? Even though we're performing well in Europe?
The penalty was as soft as shite , and the yellow cards were unwarranted for the most part and what we need now is to try and sure up for Thursday but be more galvanised for the baggies trip next Sunday, I'm working nights tonight so I've 10 and a half hours of thinking about today ahead of me, sorry for being negative and not having anything that constructive to say but just felt the need to post the blues away......chin up, onwards and upwards hopefully  |

I only live in copper quarter, and on my short journey home I heard no less than 5 people moaning.........I shit you not......moaning!
Moaning because we ONLY....yes.....ONLY...won 5-1, OK yes it could and should have been more, their goal was epic in all fairness, one of the best goals I've seen done the liberty, but you can't fooking moan after that?
OK they were shocking opponents but swans played very well, took their foot off the gas a little at times but all in all brilliant stuff!

In a related post I stated we need to freshen up our support a little, and rossshaw (sorry for being a cock to you sir) said "well why don't you come up with something" so, why don't we try and get some things going? Some suggestions in here no matter what they are share them, we need to get some passion and fire back into our fortress, I like the "daddy cool" music for bony perhaps we could chant it too? I've discussed I'm not fussed on the michu one and its matter of opinion but aside mine or anyone's like or dislike for chants I just think we need to generate more noise? |

I know there's a few threads on this but what do we think of the support at home at the moment? And the in house entertainment and goal songs?
I think we've gone very stale and stagnant and we need new material,
Things like "we will we will michu" are to be blunt fecking awful and embarrassing!
Some of the flags are good and have a bit of humour etc but our supports not reflecting it?
They seemed to dispense of the half time kids pens but don't know if it was because of rain?
I don't know if its because of a new fan base but we don't seem to have teeth anymore or the 'vetch intimidation'
I always thought when we were not in premiership and I would watch Prem games on the box that the atmos seemed crap, but our games are starting to be like that, I don't know if we're becoming a little complacent?
I didn't have that electric feeling like our first home encounter with utd.
The last time I felt like that was probably forest at home in the play off semi, I know this is the least of our worries and I know you can say if team performs the crowd are up for it, but it needs to be a two way street. [Post edited 19 Aug 2013 16:39]

OK, here we are again, a Sunday morning, you've just woken up and then......remember the swans had a 4-1 loss yesterday 
You've got that empty feeling and you feel hungover and just sorry for yourself, but in the cold light of day in your misog state, you start to realise there's 37 games left to rectify this!
I don't know why people are being vilified for thinking before the united game that we could pull off a result? Whether it be a point or all 3? If we're not here to compete but to roll over to these media darlings then why pay all that money week in week out to watch these games?
No ones got divine right to victory you've got to earn it, but on an equal footing we were not disgraceful yesterday I just think an awful lot of factors came in to this defeat.
I think the score line its self massively flattered utd but the clinical overtures were abundant.
I think this is a massive reality check and yes I think although we played well and not so well, I think some players may have had the billy big bollox knocked out of them last night and that's not a bad thing!
We're fighting on four fronts this season, league, euro, fa cup, capital one cup, in the league let's be realistic we need to attain 40 points at least and survival, the cups will work themselves out.
I'm sure this isn't the last morning we're going to wake up miserable, and then analysis will follow in droves, but we played the English champions, and whilst we could and should have done better, we didn't disgrace ourselfs we tried to put in a shift but were not completely at the races, utd showed why they're streets ahead with a pressure soaking performance and frightening concise finishing due to mediocre defending, but I feel we've more than enough about our game to put this to bed and move on! |

We learnt a. Bit of a master class in finishing today that's for sure, one thing I would like to state above anything else is.......how fuccking annoying was that slade chant by the utd fans?

How long has this summer been? That loss to fulham back in may seems like 3 years ago! OK we've had whetted appetites with our euro birth, and a good pre season, but we've had to endure the lions, or the ashes to quench our thirst for a gap filler until we file in to the liberty for another season of top notch football (hopefully top notch anyway) in between we've all witnessed yet more uncertainty over yet another manager, more speculation over players coming in and out, and had a good laugh at our esteemed cousins up the road and their shenanigans. This Saturday we have lift off against a utd side in transition and the excitement level is high, I can't wait to see the coopers, the railway, the harvester etc etc all packed out with fans having a pre game ale, the buzz and noise before the match kicks off and Kevin johns words of battle and witt , just 5 days until the big day and 2 months or so which have seemed like a lifetime evaporate and normality is resumed and sanity is restored..........hurry up Saturday!!! |

Had my new home shirt a week or so ago but wanted a goosey at new shop so bought new away over there as I had a voucher from crimbo, seems nice enough not a massive change, nice buzz over there before match, was wondering who else has been there and what are your thoughts on it? |
