Is anyone else of the opinion they don't want him to re sign? If his heart was in it he would he signed immediately or after 'some' talks, i.e tutte. To me it seems he is actively looking for the best deal and the most money out there. Who can blame him, this could be his last 'big' pay day, he is at supposedly the peak years of his career and has had a successful time with us. Hes probably never gonna be able to demand as a big a wage as he can right now. I'd rather he moves on than has to settle for a deal at Rochdale because he couldn't get what he wanted elsewhere. I am not suggesting he wouldn't play well if we did sign him, after all at l2 level he's proven. Merely a topic for discussion. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

Not that I am anywhere near a Coleman out opinion I just dont feel the guy is helping himself. This is modern era football and no matter what people's opinions are you cant deny sports science and training methods have evolved, however, not seemingly in JC's head. His training sessions are archaic, though admittedly, enjoyed by the majority of players. The club has no full time sports scientist, that makes us the only professional football club in the country to not do this. All teams need a triangle of management; players, management and support staff (eg, strength and conditioning coaches, physios, nutrionalists). If any of these are not up to the required standards success becomes very hard to achieve. In my opinion we are at least failing on the support staff side. I am aware I posted this as a respose to an ealier post, just fancied seeing people's opinions. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

| Forum Thread | New Kit etc at 14:26 7 Jul 2012
As somebody who hasn't bought a replica kit/training gear for the past couple of seasons due to the embarrassingly poor quality can anyone tell me if the new 'Fila' arm of carbrini are any better or are people still losing badges, lettering etc, especially on the kids as it is my daughter's birthday soon. Cheers. |

| Forum Thread | Hilly to be a saint? at 14:21 30 Aug 2010
Rumour doing the rounds down south is Southampton will be approaching Hilly. Personally I could see that as a project he'd love. Returning a 'big' club back where they think they belong. Hope it is just rumour. |
| Forum Thread | Centre half at 17:58 5 Aug 2010
As quite obviously the weakest area of the squad (Dawson apart) I'm sure Hilly is looking to add a face or two? Any names in the grapevine or what is everyones favoured pairing, Dawson plus Holness or Goodall? |
| Forum Thread | Good old Dawson at 16:50 20 Jul 2010
Is anyone else getting a little sick of Dawson yet? You signed a contract extension supposedly for the best interest of the club. 'Big' team comes in for you and you wanna jump ship for whatever price is thrown at us. Have a little respect for the club and the management who dragged you from nothing football, be patient and remember no matter how much potential you have got, your not bigger than any club. I'm sure you will get your move, you deserve it, but only when it suits the club you are contracted to! |
