...already in love with this bloke, but in this lovely little interview, he reveals that his very first ever game in this country was watching Rangers at Loftus Road. It was meant to be!! Vamos URRRRsss!
Comes across very well. Talks a good game, a real student of the game and it feels like we have a real coach on the training ground now. I love him, I hope he gets a chance to implement his philosophy as its the way a club like us should be pushing.
Do we really have to break the spell and have him take charge of a game?
"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Ive got my happy clapper head on tonight .
Theres a bit of positivity around the club and i cant be bothered to find some negative angle. (despite a little voice in my head thinking he could be just a Spanish Beale)..Fk off brain, heart ruling.
He's gonna be great.

I know what you mean re: Beale.
But this guy does have a more tangible record as a coach, so is maybe more worthy of the cred he's getting?

I've got my sad clapperboard head on just in case - for which I completely blame the club. It's not me, it's totally them.
Granted, our new leader does talk a good game, but so did Ainsworth and Dobbo. To play advocatus diaboli, who, when they come in, declares 'I want to play dull, defensive hoofball that will alienate the fans and lose me my job before you can say "Armstrong's offside"'?

We all said this after Beales first interview.
It's being so happy that keeps me going.

Spot on. And many with Gareth too. He is the gardener with limited resources and other root causes not fixed yet, so expect a small garden at first, before something bigger only if other things are fixed. May he take us forward and excited too.

If NO - don't worry. Make up a story that he did / had great affection / blah.
Honestly, I think they treat us all like children sometimes. I couldn't care less if he had a Chelsea tattoo on his John Thomas, as long as I see the ball passed on the floor.

I think there is a big difference between the early Ainsworth and Dobbo interviews. That was all about passion and identity through hard work. Ainsworth learnt his coaching style at the clubs he played for and much was based on his own ethos. He did well as not many ex players as a percentage successfully transition straight into coaching.
I have a different feeling watching the latest interviews and think things are fitting into place. Been an amazing week for the club and looking forward to an improved performance at Rotherham.

Er yeah I recall us saying similar things about Beale when he turned up (once bitten, twice shy...)
I'm optimistic about his arrival but let's see where we and he are come the end of the season - given what this basket case club tends to be like!!
