Sad & tragic for all parties. I can't think think why there would be live rounds avaliable on the film set and the statemnet prior to the killing that there were at least two accidental gun discharges should have set the alarm bells ringing ( its never accidental but negiligent discharges) | |

Baldwin was cavalier and negligent. Carrying a gun required a high level of responsibility and a 'duty of care' with checks.
It is similar to a Piper Malibu in that respect, The folks on set were using 'gansta' terms to asses if it was loaded or not. Completely inappropriate. "Is the gun hot" (loaded). Wise guy flippancy ended in disaster. It often does in the USA where gun safety it treated very causally it seems. |  |
