Like many on here I guess the specials were one of those bands that was incredibly important to me growing up so I was gutted to hear the news terry hall had passed.
Honestly one of the celebrity deaths that’s got me more than most.

Has anyone else named their offsprings after bands or favourite songs , a member of this board last night claimed he had named his son Joe, after an Inspiral Carpets song, but thats the only one I know.

It took about 12 years, but it was that song that, er, planted the seed. And I thought it went well with the surname, even if it does make him sound like a Joan Baez tribute act.
