I not sure I can recall a player for us with his engine + desire.

Have a look at the ‘alternative angle’ video on the club site. After the goal, when the players were celebrating, Sam grabs Roberts into a huddle, which he then appears to rally. Leadership qualities shown just in that.

Wasn't it an injury thing? Doubts about his fitness and potential for future reoccurrence of injuries which we took a risk on being able to manage?
