The new owners lied about offering to buy the Trust's shares.
The new owners lied about not having sight of the shareholders' agreement as the Trust themselves provided it to them.
The new owners lied about the date that they first engaged with the Trust.
I imagine all of this is easily proved, otherwise the Trust would not issue such a statement.
The Trust have decided to wait until the end of the season before pursuing any further action so full focus is given to remaining in the premier league if at all possible.
