Hunter valley region full of coal mining goes back as far to the 1830's , welsh miners brought into the area as workers from the homeland, many welsh names there, Swansea, Cardiff, Neath, etc and they still have musical Eistefodds. |  | | |

There used to be a Swans supporters club that would meet at Melbourne casio pub.
Went to it one year after talking to people at a bar on the corner of Finnders St.
There also is a Swans flag up in the Celtic pub near the Welsh Capel.
