This is something that the club should consider for the new stadium, maybe one for each year (128/132 to date) or decade (only 13) the club has existed. I'm sure we could come up with plenty of worthy players, managers, chairmen/directors, staff, fans etc.

Oh, and Ian Holloway for giving us back our pride at the lowest point I've ever known at QPR.

I'd stick in the moody Moroccan maverick, from 86 to date I've enjoyed watching him the most.

Evelyn Lintott. A truely unknown hero. What a life / career he had yet few QPR would have heard of him. Needs a statue!

Jim Gregory (football chairman)

James Arthur "Jimmy Boy" Gregory (born Hammersmith, London 19 January 1928 died 1998), was a former English Football club Director and Chairman.

He was brought up in the Shepherd's Bush area and was a childhood QPR supporter. His father ran a fish stall and in 1942 at the age of 14 when his father went into the army he took over the running of the stall. When Gregory senior came back from the War, Jim set up his own buying and selling business. In the early 1950s he entered the second-hand car business, setting up on a Hammersmith bombsite.By the end of the 1950s he had bought 3 acres (12,000 m2) in Hounslow and set up "Gregory's Motordome" (which could possibly be seen as a forerunner of the car supermarkets we see today). Further businesses were acquired and sold and in late 1964 he joined the QPR board.

He became Chairman a few months later in early 1965. When he took over at Loftus Road, the South Africa Road side of the ground consisted of a muddy bank and crowds were low. Gregory's enthusiasm and money - he would invest millions - soon however brought a great run of success. The manager at the time, Alec Stock, was building a young and dynamic team and one of Gregory's early deals in conjunction with Stock helped to add the final piece in the jigsaw. This was the signing from Fulham of Rodney Marsh for £15,000 in 1966.

Over the coming seasons QPR would achieve three promotions and also win the League Cup in 1967. Gregory also modernised the stadium, financing the building of two new stands on the South Africa Road and Ellerslie Road sides of the ground. In 1987 after advice from doctors to slow down he sold QPR to Marler Estates, a property company run by the then Fulham Chairman David Bulstrode.

I've said it before on other links and I will say it again.

Mick Leach. An absolute professional who always gave his best in an R's shirt. Never moaned, played in several positions and scored some important and cracking goals. Sure, there were plenty other more skilful players around him but he oppitomised what a dedicated footballer should be.

RIP Mick.

Christ, with a comment like that about Ian Holloway; were you even a fan when we got relegated to the third tier?

Seven players, no hope and a one way ticket to oblivion. Say what you like about his final few months (I might not disagree), but that journey from the brinks of despair back to 'our level' as a club (The Championship) was f-in epic.

He was an under-rated water carrier for Super Ray too as a player...

Can we go out yet?

Manager .....Ollie ... I felt like I was in the team .

Player Steve Palmer.. not the best player but was Ollies voice on the field , gave everything every week . got us back in the championship then faded away again . The 5th goal in 100 plus heat against Blackpool 1st game of the season .... magnificient

can't believe nobody's mentioned Gerry yet!
Magnificent player, captain of our best ever team and the only QPR player to ever captain England. Did very well as our manager too and he's Rangers through and through.
Him and Alan McDonald would get my vote.

Mike Keen - the Bobby Moore of the 3rd Division and captain of the League Cup winning team of '67.

OK. I'll bite.

To suggest that SWP should be in a QPR Hall of Fame is utterly absurd.

And that's not even, imo, IAF.
