I agree. Low bar indeed, however I'd rather persevere with him than Madsen.

25 years old and been a professional for seven years yet has only played 30 games.
I think he’s ok, but he needs to swallow it and drop down to League One or Two otherwise he’ll have no stories to tell the grandkids.

He's not done much for us but this seems like strange timing when Field, Varane and now Chair are out injured, Morgan way off form / possibly worn out, Colback creaking, Andersen only just back but still slow, Madsen barely playing and Edwards possibly being moved to defensive midfield as he was Saturday. | | | |

I said last summer that it would be a bit pointless to give him a new contract as Cifuentes wouldn’t use him.
