Very impressed with Esse for them. Only 19 and one of their academy players. Very assured on the ball.
As for us we have bags of pace (for once) with Dembele, Saito and Smyth and we need to use that pace more directly. A fit Frey is also a hell of a lot quicker than he was but essentially if you have the kind of pace we have now you need to deploy it a lot more directly.
He's been excellent. Seems to have a style similar to Peter Schmeichel. He's extremely fast off his line and really spreads himself in that Schmeichel fashion. That save at the end was absolutely superb.
Not a happy bunny. Too slow. Too few chances created.
Thankfully seeing what a lot of fans are and he ain't happy. A week to get them fired up again but at least we are hard to beat, which is important and the wins will come, especially with Dembele rolling his socks down to do his best Dave Thomas impression.
A fair effort tonight I thought. Palace just that bit better because of Eze. It's funny that for all of our quite clever interplay that some of our best chances come from a long pumped ball and the striker muscling their way to a shot.
It would be hard to think of a more scrambled goal than that but well played everyone for fighting for it. I will have to have a word with someone if that is considered for goal of the month! I have to say that Bannan took their goal beautifully. Great technique.
Just to remind everyone that although weren't good we stretch our unbeaten run and we are unbeaten away!
Really great stuff. A few people have commented that Tyler isn't even an Rs fan. Watch this and you'll see that even if he wasn't he is fast falling in love with all things Rangers. Kicks every ball, silently sings all the songs. Great relationship with Andy. Not an easy job to commentate but great work from both of them.
Just a quick word about Paul in the last 5+ minutes of the Luton game. His defending down that flank and relentless tackles and harrying helped us see out the game. A really impressive display of putting everything on the line for the cause. The boy was everywhere. Well done Paul.
