In terms of Open Play xGA only, QPR move up to 3rd in the division (since Cifuentes’ arrival), with 0.54 xGA p/90. Only Leicester & Southampton have a better xGA from open play in the time MC has been in position @OscarQPR1https://t.co/WoakHNkBVE

Cifuentes is doing everything he can with the disgusting mess he's inherited. Still think he's the best thing about us.
Absolutely terrified he'll keep us reasonably competitive, but we'll go down, and another champ club will immediately nick him, possibly one relegated from the prem. Can see it coming a mile off.

Yeah that is what I've been anticipating since day 1

All I take from it is we might pick up extra 0-0 draws so down we go. We need wins and the lack of scoring is back to where we were when Ainsworth left.

We were conceding around 3 goals a game under Ainsworth
At least now if we do manage to score 1 we should at least get a point

I just hope that the club aren't stupid enough to eject him if we go down and actually do everything they can to help him eject 90% of this squad and actually build one, albeit in L1 that gives a sh*t and doesn't have the mentality of a meringue in a microwave. Cifuentes is the only decent thing that's walked into this club in ages.

A year or so back we were saying similar things about Beale.
Not that I think Cifuentes is remotely like him. Just that, as fans, we tend to cling desperately early to any positivity from a new coach or player. When it all comes crashing down again, the pain and sorrow cuts deeper than it should have, so our consequent anger is even greater.
