De Boer has been sacked 3 times in 4 years. Palace saw enough after 5 games.

Marsch averages 0.90 points per game in English football and commands a salary in the millions. Can you imagine the uproar of them appointing an American manager?

It’s all well and good filtering down to PPG - but in what leagues were they earned in?

I’m sure you can find someone in the League of Wales with 1.5+ ppg. It’s about standard of opposition.

Conversely the lower down the pyramid you go to the leagues where nobody has got any money and all the teams are much of a muchness a higher ppg is more noticeable. Most managers could win the welsh premier league with TNS but achieving a good finish with one of the semi pro teams is a much better achievement.
