Nice to see Starmer and Lammy squirming with embarrassment in Westminster today, with Rayner & Reeves with faces like thunder looking on.

Talk about putting all your money on one horse, in a two horse race.

Banning Smoking outside pubs
at 14:12 29 Aug 2024

Keir Starmer has not ruled out the idea of smoking being banned in some outdoor spaces, including pub gardens and outside restaurants, as ministers consider fresh tobacco curbs that hospitality groups say could adversely affect the sector.

Good thing or another nail in the coffin of freedom of choice

LGBTQ+ activist

The patron of LGBTQ+ charity which encouraged toddlers to question their gender, has been charged with child sex abuse.
Stephen Ireland 40 is accused of 37 offences including raping a child under 13, multiple sexual assaults, voyeurism, making indecent images of minors, and plotting to kidnap a child.
Another volunteer from the charity, David Sutton 26 has also been charged with child sex abuse offences, including conspiracy to assault and plotting to kidnap.

Paedophiles can come under many guises, but this movement is the perfect cover to hide their vile perversions.

BOG OFF to BOGOF offers in Wales
at 18:12 2 Jul 2024

Labour to ban free refills, bogof and multibuy offers in Wales.
Commenting on a Labour Welsh Government draft regulation consultation wherein there are proposals to restrict the ability of retailers to offer free refills, buy one get one free and multibuy offers, Sam Rowlands MS, Welsh Conservative Shadow Health Minister said:

“Nanny state plans like these are a distraction from Labour’s atrocious NHS record here in Wales.

“These frankly over-the-top regulations will hit people in their pockets, exacerbating the cost of living for the poorest in society, yet Keir Starmer calls this his blueprint for Britain.

“While healthy eating is important, the Welsh Conservatives believe that you have a right to decide what you eat and drink. Clearly Labour do not.”

Thoughts ?

Man collapsed after the QPR game
at 15:35 2 Apr 2024

Chap collapsed in the East stand after final whistle of the QPR game, he was bleeding from a head wound, and looked to be in a bad way.
I don't know him, but I've heard him quoting from the football rule book to the ref for many years, he'd shout stuff like "page 22 paragraph 6 etc".

Just wondering if anyone knows what happened to him and if he's ok.

Latibeaudiere to Coventry + compo
at 14:30 18 Jul 2023

Swansea City has reached an agreement with Coventry City regarding compensation for Joel Latibeaudiere.

The 23-year-old defender, who has been on international duty at the Gold Cup with Jamaica, left the Swans following the expiry of his contract at the end of June and has joined the Sky Blues.

However, due to the player being under the age of 24 and having rejected the offer of a new contract, Swansea City were entitled to compensation.

Productive discussions have been held and an undisclosed sum has been agreed between the two clubs.

Everyone at Swansea City wishes Joel well in his future career, having made 79 appearances and scored three goals during his three seasons with the club.
